Here you can see how I put the extra cables in the 5.25" drive bay. I also used a zip tie to strap a bundle of cables to the drive cage so they wouldn't move around.

Apparently showing up three hours early, requesting a seat change, traveling alone, and flying only with carry-ons meant I got extra security action. Boy, did I feel safe afterward!
