Auckland Airport. This lady was having a very animated conversation. I managed to capture one of her more interesting expressions. Silver Efex Pro: Kodak PlusX 125 PX Pro
Today a gale force, icy wind is blowing with rain so have not been out. Theses images are from previous morning walks.
I was lucky to have my camera set up for panning when this flock of egrets suddenly appeared.

This is a handheld image with an exposure of 5 sec that creates the dreamy effect. A sharp image has a very different feel about it
The holy city on Anuradhapura is full of believers and monks. That sounded very promissing to me and I expected some great subjects to shoot. When I was visiting the city only a very fiew tourists were around. Afterwards I know why... the ticket is extremly expensive for Sri Lankan circumstances, the weather was unbelievable hot (we burnt our feet because there were no shoes allowed at all religious sigths) and there were no explanations for tourists at all. So the frustration level was increasing throughout the day...
But as we were on our way back to the hotel we literally ran into this buddhist celebration where they renew the banderole around the great white main stupa. That was a cool spectacle. In the end of the day I got my shot and was happy ;)
These three images have more to do with the way I feel about the miracle of bird flight than the actual vision, if you know what I mean.
OK my friend Michael Cohen posted a similar image. He described the bear (I think it is actually the same Coastal Brown Bear (Ursus arctos) cub) "praying" for salmon. Shiela captured him in another expressive moment. We'll say he's "clapping" here - for all the attention he's getting from the photographers. Actually it looks like he's using his paws to balance, while he puts that magnificent sense of smell to work. But that's not as amusing. Yes we are ascribing human action and emotion to a bear. It's fun. Hallo Bay, Katmai National Park, Alaska.
"Give me wide eyes," is what I said. And that's what I got.
Amazing, isn't it? A picture of someone I actually know in my photostream. It's been a while.

After all the years I have photographed flowers, and especially Tulips.
Started to read them.
Saw their emotions.
With my imagination easy peasy.
I even seem to humanize some!
They can be sad, happy, surprised... you name it, just like people.
Please, forgive the artist in me and just enjoy with a smile? LOLOLOL.
Have a wonderful day, filled with love and thank you for your visit, M, (*_*)

po co umyłam piersi
i każdy włos z osobna
czesałam w wąskim lustrze
puste są moje ręce
i łóżko
---
why did I wash my breasts
and comb apart each hair
in the narrow mirror
empty are my hands
and bed

Unfortunately summers in Canada are very HOT.
Wild fires have started and are out of control, destroying everything in it's path. Even with the fire bans some people are still careless and the trees are so dry they catch fire quickly.
Prompts: a very hot summer day, high detail photography shot, DSLR camera, full size wide shot that is iconic, realistic, dark and moody, captivating, haunting, murky, a suspenseful mood, powerful, stunning, eye - catching, breathtaking, dreamy, atmospheric lighting, ethereal, expressive, mesmerizing, dynamic, award winning, with fisheye and pinhole photo effects --ar 16:9 --v 5.2
