For Round 17 of 'Get Pushed', I was paired with Marie Sharp, whose beautiful photostream
is full of beautiful owls and macros of the lush nature surrounding her. Such a treat!
Marie gave me a one-word challenge - 'EXPLOSION!!!'
I absolutely loved this idea. So much in fact, that I returned the same one-word challenge
right back to her!
It's very interesting to see our different interpretations.
This was done with diet soda and mentos, and some very nervous girls who were expecting the explosion to be much higher and more dangerous than it actually was. A couple days later we managed to get the explosion much higher, but the settings were different so everything was blurry and I preferred this one because of the face paint and expressions of the girls.
Thanks Marie Sharp, I really enjoyed this one!
An explosion of colours during a great sunrise over Lake Ontario is coupled with a Superior mirage, where steam and cloud image are visible directly above the horizon.
Glad to have captured this great weather phenomenon here in Toronto!

The Big Bang
A poem by Doug Holder
It's not the bang
so much
as the anticipation
the sensitive hairs
in each of your
expectant drums
your body
retreating into
its seminal
fetal curl
the hands'
feral clawing
and it all
boils
down to
some histrionic
exploding sun,
and then
quite simply
you're done.

I was pleased to see the peacock boast its colors during our visit to the local zoo.
Have a great day everyone!
Dramatic chemtrail clouds look like explosion in the sky. Notice the straight-line chemtrail in right sector of photo exiting a cloud at a 45 degree angle.
Pilots often "connect" fake clouds or real clouds to other clouds using this technique.
The process appears to encourage dispersion of the chemtrail fake cloud into nearby clouds, eventually creating fake clouds all over the sky.

Close up of the explosion of the water balloon. I love this because the shape is still that of a water balloon.
There were some of the biggest explosions from waves detonating on rock that I've ever seen on the weekend. At a guess, considering the size of the people, this is a 20-30m tall eruption! The forces of nature are truly captivating - over hundreds of years, events like this transform even the toughest coastlines.
My blog a couple of sets of shots from the weekend up.
(Me han publicado esta foto en un cuadro en los pasillos de mi instituto, me sirvió para conseguir un 9 en fotografía) <3
After watching this tutorial (http://psdtuts.com/tutorials-effects/create-a-powerful-mental-wave-explosion-effect/) this was my attempt. I changed it a bit. This is my third photoshop art just discoverd the incredible world of photoshop!!! Please comment.
