I did not think about it before but I get it. In the piece there was a lot of Jazz pieces and lots of ribbon dancers I think they were using the ribbons to create the feel of the Matisse works being projected behind them
Ok so it's a rubbish camera phone gig picture, but I quite like the way he looks like an alien with the head movement.
A collegue of mine collected some spores of Lycopodium sp. (ground pines).
They once were used as a flash light, today pyrotechnicians use them for explosions.
We used a very small amount to make a small (very, very small) explosion .
You can see the spores trickle into the flame and how the blaze inflame the dust.
