Taken on Skomer Island, Pembrokeshire. What fantastic birds with fantastic characters, totally un-phased by people. Taken with my 55-200mm VR at ISO400 and edited very slightly, curves and levels and mandatory sharpening only.

Heavy crop on this one.

Danbo had been resting for awhile from flickr/facebook/forum etc etc..and but be rest assured that he does read ALL the letters/mails/messages from all of you..

I woke up earlier than usual this morning, so I decided to drive to Jubilee Creek, to see if I could take an interesting photo (or two).

Now that I'm able to walk everywhere without pain again, I opted to (carefully) walk along the river instead of following the regular trail.

This might sound like a lot of fun, but it's easier said than done. There are plenty of places where logs and/or tangled vegetation will make this feel like you're doing an obstacle course.

I might not have captured any award-winning photos this morning, but at least I successfully completed the obstacle course.

The only thing that I could complain about afterwards was that my toes were feeling a bit cold. Life is good again!

The Jay is back in my garden. Lovely to see again. I think it appeared about the same time last year, and I guess, after nesting had finished, it flew off to another area. Anyway, its great to see it back :o)

ik schaam me gewoon > weer explore ????? Kan jullie alleen maar bedanken...............dus: BEDANKT!!

Robert Peary on board the Roosevelt in the Arctic, 1909. Despite his claims, it is now thought that he did not reach the pole that year. Additionally, he was horrible to the Inuit that lived there. Nonetheless, a cool photo.

This is so very similar to another explored shot I've taken before but this is just what the bunnies look like when they think it's time to be fed!

Chocolate and Marshmallow weren't best pleased when it wasn't feeding time and I stuffed them into a catbox and took them to their holiday home in Farrington Gurney instead.

Please don't be a chump and post your own photos in comments because this is explored. That's not exactly the way to make friends.

Explored ..

nah, I didn't eat them like this, but they were on their way to the next phase ... I just had to ask my Wife to allow me to capture them before they leave this pan :-) .. trust me, eventually I ate those, but inside a pie ;-) ... (sorry, pie was devoured mostly by me before I even thought of taking pic :)

BEST DAY EVER

fun with Photoshop , this was originally a photo I took of a strange looking doll in the Istanbul Toy Museum, and it got even stranger with a series of filters, I like the kind of jeweled effect. (Explored)
