I love the multiple colors in this flower... Im not sure what kind of flower it is... i need to look it up :) The blooms are yellow-orange with long stamens... I will post the bloom later today :)

Spotted a small pride of lions coming down the road that leads up the the Lenong Lookout point. I spent about an hour and a half following and photographing these beautiful creatures as they made their way down hill napping and grooming.

Explored Normally I have my trusty Sigma 10-20mm stuck on my camera. My son went on assignment and borrowed it so I walked around with my trusty Nikon loaded with my other trusty lens, my 50mm f1.8. It is difficult to go from super wide – not as wide as Altus’ lens – to a mid telephoto. Then I came upon a gaggle of old autos. I had no choice but to make do with the 50mm. Most Marines, Mr. Dusty Pixel, would do fine with a 50mm, Grant it! Here is one of a few shots. Don’t ask for years… I’m not that good!

I took that shot through that dirty, drool covered, hand print covered glass at around closing time ...aka DARK (at the Atlanta Zoo). The Lion popped up out of nowhere and I had the T.C. Attached ...DOH... so only got this portion and some blur to the right (almost make him look like a one eyed Lion). Anyway, I cropped it out, and like the intensity of this majestic yet ferocious animal .... almost had a vision as if I was stalked by him in Serengeti ... that's what I saw before he grabbed my neck!! .... a funny feeling just flows through my spine ....:-)
