it was really nice day with great sun and little clouds but on the spur of the moment i raised my head to the sky and saw this amazing view of a small storm of rain and i quickly took out the camera from the case and took the shot and ran back to the hotel.
hope you like it
you can check it in 500px for better quality
The photo was taken from a fast shutter speed jet. The human eye, it looks pretty smooth. Fast shutter speed makes it look like an explosion
I recently purchased a used Soviet made lens called the Mir 1b, I modified it slightly, and am now playing around with it. You can expect to see a number of whacky images like this. This is a double exposed long exposure, so there is one image in focus and one out of focus combined in camera. The result is pretty crazy.

Having some fun in the woods at Cottonwood Park. All done in camera no special apps involved.
Must view on black...thanks for all the views and comments.
It's difficult to find wildflowers in late summer, but during one of my last walks in the woods, I found this star-shaped thistles releasing seeds while still keeping their yellow colour. The species is Carlina hispanica.
Since then, it has rained quite a bit and I think some autumn flowers may already be blooming. I need them if I want to finish this project, there are only 3 months left, and they aren't exactly known for flower abundance in the Northern Hemisphere. But I think it's still possible.

I brought along my 8 year old for this particular shot and he described the scenery as exploding marshmallows. I just love the imagination that kids have. Any way, I thought I'd share where I got the title from.
Off to Montreal this weekend for some fun. Hopefully will bring back a few to share with you all.
Rap é o motivo, é a causa pela qual to lutando
Me dedicando, perdendo noites e noites de sono
Durante anos, apostando cada minuto do tempo
Observando, quem é digno de tá no movimento
Or, this is what happened to my appendix a little over a week ago. Being a tough guy (some might think an idiot), I went 5 days before the pain caused me to seek medical attention. Fortunately, an incredible medical staff, Doctor and Surgeon went to work on me and may have saved my life.
Now out of the hospital, recovery going very well; I hope to make an 11 hour drive into northern Arizona to attend a Family Reunion this coming week. It promises to be one of the best gatherings in many years.
This is going to keep my activity low on Flickr for awhile, but I'm looking forward to seeing all the great work that has been captured in my absence.
God Bless.
