In spring it feels like the "decicive moment" applies as much to nature photography as to anything else. The conditions for this image would only exist for one day this year I think. The next day it was sunny again and then the leaves will take over completely.
I took this one from along Boulder Creek in Colorado. It's always a thrill when the ducks suddenly launch out of the water!
Thank you for 'clicking' for a closer look. On the 4th of July, I felt my Photostream needed a splash of color. This flower was growing at Hollis Gardens in Lakeland, Florida. I do not know its name.
This evening I went before the announced thunderstorm came. This is the exploding sky I was waiting for during blue hour. Strong wind and rain (from back) was part of the scene.

A burst of colors in the early morning sky over the beautiful Caherconree scenic route in Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry, Ireland.
I shot this image at Shore Acres along the Oregon Coast on a very active ocean day. Not King Tides per se, but very heavy surf that exploded onto the rocks and swept the shore. The rock seen here stands more than twenty-feet tall. This wave rumbled as it crashed into the rocks.
