The exit sign on an outside wall of the new home for "Austin City Limits".
They moved the studios for the Austin City Limits into the New "W" Hotel built downtown. The exit sign is on an outside concrete wall on one side of a flight of stairs.
The stark contrast of the red in the word "exit" against a plain concrete wall...and the strong shadows from metal beams overhead, drew my eye to the shot. I added a little color variation and blurriness to try and give it a weathered look.
This is Todd, my physical therapist. I have a crush on him, but only because he always makes me feel good.

Seen on a pile of bricks from the old M J M building being demolished on the Kingston high school campus in Kingston NY.
Interstate 5 is busy at all hours carrying traffic through downtown Seattle - Capitol Hill is to the left, downtown directly ahead with Belltown to the far right.
Any birthday that includes some time at the Mayfair Theatre (with my favourite housemade iced tea, to boot!) is a fine one indeed.
Went for my regular catch-up with the sister and then spent a good three quarters of an hour in B&M Home Bargains, fascinated by all the fabulous junk they have. Ended up buying a new toaster as the element in my old one is on its last legs.

And I thought I wouldn't get a shot for my 365 in. I woke up for work 4 hours late for work, thanks to my late night/early morning edits. I rushed out forgetting my tripod, my night time sidekick. After work I walked around looking for some interesting shots and a place to rest the camera on if I found one but I came across nothing. I figured around 10pm I would just head home and called it a night. I got in the subway and just started taking flicks of signs and random things until the train came. When I got home I took a few shots of my tripod, thinking I would use that as a shot for my 365. After uploading I figured I play around with this picture in photoshop. I wanted to create a scene because I felt the original shot was dull. A grim, dark scene. One that you would hope to never see in life, only on flickr. I've always wanted to go crazy in photoshop without any regrets so I did. I hope you like the results.

Where does one go, when there is no way out? You look for the exit, of course. There will always be a sign for deliverance.
Everyone, have a great weekend...
On Thursday March 22, 2018, my Railfan Friend Jim and I visited Kirby Farm in Williston, Florida to witness the beginning of a Place for Critically ILL and Disadvantage Children. - Kirby Family Farms is Focused on Railroad and Agricultural History !
Kirby Family Farm will not open officially open for at least a full year, since there is much work to be done. They have assembled a great number of discarded Carnival Rides, Narrow Gauge Locomotives, 18 Ringling Brothers Circus (Passenger) Cars, a few Circus Wagons, a former USAF End Cab Switcher and various Surplus Trucks donated by US Government Agencies. Some of the former Steam Locomotives have been converted to Diesel-Mechanical and were formerly used by various Theme Parks such as OpryLand and Bush Gardens Williamsburg.
This photograph shows a Kiddie Pig Ride, that Daryl Kirby acquired for his new enterprise. The ride folds up for storage if it needs to be moved to another location. There are other Rides and Attractions in the background.
Daryl was very cordial with us, allowing us to roam freely taking photographs. We spoke with him and his employees about the monumental amount of worked to achieve an grand opening in 2019. He has acquired many discarded carnival rides through donations and purchases and he needs Volunteers.
The Kirby Family Farm has hosted "6 Gun Territory Re-Enactments" during through the 1960's. aka: "Six Gun Territory" featuring Sam Huston. They also feature Christmas and Easter Celebrations and Fund Raisers. He is looking for Volunteers and additional acquisitions.
The Kirby family Farm is located at: 19650 Northeast 30th Street, Williston, Florida 32696. They can be reached at 352-812-7435.
The Kirby Family Farm Website is at: kirbyfarm.com
