Sketched from Liz's photo reference. This was my second attempt at drawing this and I am happy with the proportions. But it looks as though it has been sketched with 2 distinctly different styles - a heavy, more considered style / lime (the windows and roof) and then a more loose / sketchy line - the trees, fence, shading etc. Would like to feel that I have a more unified style. Working on that...
This helicopter appeared to be on some kind of exercise. Nice day for it :-) The lighthouse is Pendeen watch.

Exercise Cobra Warrior On the Monday following the end of the Cobra Warrior exercises, I made a final visit to RAF Waddington to try and capture the departure of the popular Indian Air Force Dassault Mirages, and I wasn’t disappointed this time, although it was still a bit touch-and-go as they say 😀.
I headed out to the airfield bright and early (for me at any rate :) at around 8.30 a.m. and as I approached Bracebridge Heath I had a bit of déjà vu feeling as, yet again, I was rather beaten to it when I saw one of the Indian Air Force Boeing C-17s gracefully lift into the air, and make a low swoop over the village! I could have got a great video if I’d been just ten minutes earlier, as they had switched to runway 02 departures and the C-17 fairly filled the sky.
Nothing else much moved for a while, except the mobile control tower, which had planted itself at the end of runway 20 until someone must have informed them that they had actually switched runways 😅 I took a short video as it lumbered off down to the other end of the airfield.
Does anyone have any history about this interesting vehicle - is there such a type at every RAF airfield?

Low-res shot taken with an iPhone 6s iPhone photography - apologies for the poor quality of some of these phone photos - sometimes they're nice and sharp - sometimes they're all pixelated and not up to my usual standard. The videos are better :)
