Still wearing its Norfolk and Western black paint from its time as N&W 812, 1957-built GP9 812 was( barely) lettered for the Maryland Midland as it led an eastbound passenger special from Union Bridge to Emory Grove and Back in 1990.
Running for the now-defunct Entertainment Line on the former Western Maryland Railway, the 812 became MMID GP9 202 and was chop nosed in the 1990s.
When the Genesee and Wyoming purchased the Midland, it was rebuilt and repainted as Georgia Central GP20 1715.
