Pictures from our excursion in Juneau - "Whale Watching and Wildlife Quest." We have never had as good a whale watching expedition as we had in Juneau. We left from Auke Bay and spent much of the time in the Favorite Channel. The whale watching was spectacular on this cloudy and rainy day in Alaska. Taken on September 4th, 2022 on our port call to Juneau, Alaska. From our balcony room on the port side of the ship, we were able to see seaplanes taking off and landing. Great fun seeing these planes in Juneau. Beautiful visit to the Alaskan State Capital. On board the Royal Caribbean Ovation of the Seas for the seven night Alaska Experience Cruise (September 2nd through 9th, 2022). The cruise embarks from Seattle, Washington and the itinerary includes stops in Juneau (AK), Skagway (AK), Sitka (AK) and Victoria (British Columbia, Canada) before heading back to Seattle.
Visit Pattaya Floating Market - this is an incredibly colorful place with the opportunity to take a boat trip through the canals of a real Asian market on the water, buy souvenirs from all regions of Thailand, take original photos, try national cuisine!

Newark, the third oldest city in the United States, offers many exciting things to see, and we will be fortunate enough to explore three private Victorian homes there. After a traditional Portuguese lunch in the city’s historic Ironbound section, we will visit the Ballantine House at The Newark Museum. The 27-room, late Victorian-style mansion was built in 1885 for Jeannette and John Holme Ballantine of the celebrated Newark beer-brewing family. The original house had eight bedrooms and three bathrooms. A part of the museum since 1937, today two of its floors are interpreted as a suite called “House & Home” with eight period rooms, two hallways and six thematic galleries—all filled with things that might have been found in people’s homes from the 1650s to the present.
