Wild animals and birds always find a way to find food. This duckling was with its mother and siblings at Peppa Pig World at the theme park I took Rose and Amy to. They were wandering around all the adults and children as if it were second nature. There is a river that runs alongside the park and that's where they nest and swim, but if they are looking for food into the hubbub of the park they come. I don't think eating fast food is good for them but then it isn't that good for us either

More of this fast quirky style have been doing lately...

Mixed Minifigures , some have legs some have arms, evolution still in progress in that town. Maybe we see in 10 000 years a new species who have arms and legs and both are moveable, but still they are able to produce robots to do their daily work.

This scene was kind of funny to me.

This hike began at South Lake on the Bishop Pass Trail September 8 and 6 days latter ended at North Lake. According to a more accurate account than I can generate we hiked 55 miles, gained 8,730 feet and lost 9,200 feet elevation. This area, part in Kings Canyon National Park and part in the John Muir Wilderness is about 20 miles southwest from Bishop, California.

Here is a brief summary of our route: South Lake Trailhead - Bishop Pass - Dusy Basin - LeConte Canyon - Muir Pass - Evolution Valley - Puite Creek Canyon - Humphrey's Basin - Piute Pass - North Lake Trailhead. We passed more than a dozen lakes some of which I will mention when I upload photos.

The Tower of Evolution: Its twisting form slightly resembles a structure of a DNA molecule. The total area of the 54-story skyscraper is 154000 square meters. Within its walls are various office buildings, as well as the Palace of Marriages

The building's iconic spiral form from base to roof is meant to represent the ideas of progress and the future. Although as a piece of architecture its completion was a real triumph for its team, it is yet to win any awards..

video: EVOLUTION OF MEN

Mt. Mendel, Mt. Darwin and The Hermit behind Evolution Creek and McClure Meadow, Kings Canyon National Park, California.

This is another in my JMT series. Please view my other JMT images in my JMT set.

This is a three-exposure, shutter bracket HDR composite. Each individual image made with a Nikon D7000 and Tokina 11-16mm.

On the horizon of this image, under the large cloud and partially obscured by a pine is Mt. Mendel (13,710'). Mt. Darwin (13,831') is just right of photo center and the prominent dome is The Hermit (12,328'). McClure Meadow lies before them all and is at the bottom of Evolution Basin before the descent into Goddard Canyon. On the other side of Evolution Basin is Muir Pass and the descent into LeConte Canyon. Muir Pass is a divide in the respect that water on the north side of the pass will flow to the San Joaquin River. Water on its south side are the headwaters of the mighty Kings River.

The Evolution Basin is a photographers dream. Most of the basin is over 10,000 feet in elevation and the effluent beauty of alpine lakes and streams and blooming wildflowers juxtapose the awesome ruggedness of granite peaks and talus fields.
