``Free software'' is a matter of liberty, not price. To understand the concept, you should think of ``free'' as in ``free speech,'' not as in ``free beer.''
Free software is a matter of the users' freedom to run, copy, distribute, study, change and improve the software. More precisely, it refers to four kinds of freedom, for the users of the software:
* The freedom to run the program, for any purpose (freedom 0).
* The freedom to study how the program works, and adapt it to your needs (freedom 1). Access to the source code is a precondition for this.
* The freedom to redistribute copies so you can help your neighbor (freedom 2).
* The freedom to improve the program, and release your improvements to the public, so that the whole community benefits (freedom 3). Access to the source code is a precondition for this.

evolución biológica Proceso continuo de cambio en los seres vivos, mediante modificaciones progresivas, por el cual se ha producido, a lo largo de las eras geológicas, la enorme variedad de formas y especies vegetales o animales, actuales y extintas.
This is a resin kit which came complete but in very sad condition. The original paint finish hadn't taken too well leaving a rather pock-marked surface which needed a large amount of preparation.
The interior was even more sad and needed a lot of TLC before it could be refinished.
A satisfying result, finished in Iwan Jones' usual colours.
I love seeing where they come from, to what they look like at their peak!
Those huge heads, so layered, all coming out of this one bud... it NEVER ceases to amaze me.
The evolution, the unfurling, the GRAND opening...
The peony is the only genus in the flowering plant family Paeoniaceae. They are native to Asia, Southern Europe and western North America but grow very well here too, Peonies are actually very easy to grow; once established they can tolerate drought and suffer from very few diseases.
Colours range from pure white through baby pinks and palest peaches to clear deep pink and darkest rich maroon. There is also a pale yellow but it is rare.
Peonies are only available between late May and early July, so get them while you can!
They are very thirsty flowers, so make sure you top up the vase or bowl.
The Greeks believed they could cure over 20 ailments and were found in every monastery garden.
Peonies have been cultivated for over 2,000 years, more for their medicinal qualities than for ornament.
The Japanese protect the earliest peony blooms from the snow by protecting them with individual small thatched shelters. Some geishas used to wear special peony colours.
The Chinese name for peony is "sho yu" which means "most beautiful" and they idolised this flower.
The common thread is that the flower always denotes luxury and indulgence.
Went for again for a dramatic lighting, to make them 'different' from other flower images...
My favourite... Lol, thank you for your time and comments, M, (*_*)

"Evolution ?" Back after a great trip to the Kruger Park in Satara camp, we had good game viewing but unfortunately no Cats! These 2 little Baboons kept us entertained one morning as they played and wrestled in the road. — at Africa Photographic Travel.
Just look what it's done for them humans, billions of the buggers, wanna go star trekking but they still have to deal with religious fanatics, war, greed, mortgages, insurance, hatred, abuse, pharmaceuticals burying cures for treatment (how much are they making out of Covid, and what do they know about it's actual origin?), the list just goes on and on. Damn that, us monkeys have been going on fine for millions of years, just keep moving, eat, not get eaten, simple.
Progress, it's just a bandaid word for control and suffering.
Be a meandering monkey, you'll feel better for it XD
Mt. Mendel, Evolution Basin, Kings Canyon National Park, California.
This is another in my JMT series. It is a panorama best viewed in its large size. Please view my other JMT images in my JMT set.
This is a stitch of four single exposures made with a Nikon D7000 and Tokina 11-16mm.
I lingered at McClure Meadow for far too long and found myself hustling up the switchbacks out of Colby Meadow up to Evolution Lake. Even before I arrived at this site, the ridge had been on fire for many minutes and I stopped liberally to make images. This site is a little tarn right next to Evolution Lake. Immediately after I made these images I would set up camp for the night, cook and eat dinner and then set up my camera to capture the alpenglow over Mt. Mendel and Mt. Darwin.

Dass die Evolution des Menschen noch nicht vorbei ist, liegt so ziemlich auf der Hand. Dass Karl-Heinz die Krone der Schöpfung darstellt, will jetzt wohl auch keiner mehr abstreiten.

I'm in a very creative and inspired 'state' of mind at the moment, tee hee.
I really had fun with these in Studio Indigo.
LYSIANTHUS , unfurling in front of your eyes.
Originating in the West Indies, Mexico, and Central and South America, the flower is known botanically as Eustoma grandiflorum.
The common name comes from the Greek words lysis, meaning 'dissolution' and anthos, meaning 'flower'.
Colours include white, light and dark pink, lavender and deep purple. Double and single-flower varieties exist.
THANK YOU, M, (*_*)

Wild animals and birds always find a way to find food. This duckling was with its mother and siblings at Peppa Pig World at the theme park I took Rose and Amy to. They were wandering around all the adults and children as if it were second nature. There is a river that runs alongside the park and that's where they nest and swim, but if they are looking for food into the hubbub of the park they come. I don't think eating fast food is good for them but then it isn't that good for us either
Mixed Minifigures , some have legs some have arms, evolution still in progress in that town. Maybe we see in 10 000 years a new species who have arms and legs and both are moveable, but still they are able to produce robots to do their daily work.
