There was a respite in the winds so we made a dash along the coastline before the next weather front came in which according to the met office wasn't too far off. (Full marks to the Icelandic Metoffice, their forecasts were spot on) At least it gave us a few hours to get some more miles ahead and catch up some lost time.
The evolution of the delicious flowers, from bud to bloom.
Those huge heads, so layered, all coming out of this one bud, this bud unfurling and displaying all this beauty... it NEVER ceases to amaze me.
The evolution, the unfurling, then the GRAND opening...

A sarcastic take on evolution :)
( cropped Version )
World has turned a lot. Inventions and evolution have made our life so simple and easy. And the change is limitless and changing every single moment in every stage and steps of our life.
Almost everything has turned from pen pencil lock to rocket.
Olden days we used to have big pad locks and big keys. Now a day we have numeric or even digital padlocks. No worries for lost keys any more. That’s a big evolution at a stage of our daily life.
I have been wanting to do this photo for a while, but only just got all the dogs I needed. I wanted to do my own take on the classic evolution of man picture. The first dog is Star, a Red Merle Border Collie, doing a typical collie pose. The second dog is Fred, a Standard Poodle, doing a typical poodle pose. The third dog is Lola, a Bordoodle (a merle collie cross poodle), doing a typical bordoodle pose!

Above the first floor runs a bronze frieze telling the story of evolution. It shows different kinds of plant and animal life, beginning with low marine forms, then more complex forms, and finally birds and fish.

In our earth-lab, a life form has existed randomly, thanks to the reaction of atoms of the ingredients which were already there, in the lab, for the creation of this life form. It has started to develop and expand on the earth, randomly. Later, after billions of years, it got conscious, randomly , but not all life forms have headed to the same direction. The evolution occurred according "the tree of life”.
Speculation:
Big bang has sealed the fate of our future by creating the atom based universe, like all the necessary ingredients were put in a beaker, in a chemical lab, to become the expected ( not randomly) chemical solution.
A life form is the expected result, depending of the time, of the existence and reaction of ingredients in a beaker.
