This family lives across the alley from Kids Club and are everpresent.

He makes little sucking motions with his mouth while he sleeps. It kills me. (and that's the sound of the everpresent white noise machine in the background.)

Zanzibar is famous for the elaborate door carvings. I was walking around the residential areas of Stonetown and spotted this doorway, the green reflecting the everpresent mould which gives Stone Town its ancient run-down feel

Natasha Corrett of honestlyhealthyfood.com gets together with the fine people of Teapigs to run a matcha masterclass in the everpresently hip and ever evolving Boxpark, Shoreditch. Asides from the masterclass itself (which was a one off event), the pop up is full of matcha Kit Kats (Japanese Import), matcha bread (brown bread infused with matcha), gluten free matcha cake, tea (obviously) and other stuff I probably forgot about. If you have a matcha fetish, go take a look.

I’m not sure how long the popup is gonna be there for, but I’m pretty sure it’s a short lived phenomenon. According to the guys at Teapigs, this is an experiment, they’ve never tried running a physical shop before.

Ho ! Look who's back ? ;-)

...

Not a big house, a market or a company's building without its spirit house. At first, it is a place to make offerings to the memory of ancesters ... and then, it is believed to be a much nicer house for the everpresent ghosts to stay, much better than to hang around and bother people in their own house !

Luna moths were everpresent at Squam this year. Beautiful and transformative

After our safari, we headed to Tanzania, for a 3 day/2 night camping and hiking trek on Kili. Here you can clearly see Kibo peak with its everpresent snow on top

The summer monsoon rains are everpresent...dark clouds seem to always hang over the city, ready to burst. Gear: HTC Desire / Vignette for Android.

That's what it looks like... maybe it was a 1 litre milk carton. Either way, it is not the kind of thing a casual litterbug would have while taking a walk. Oh, and one or maybe two of the everpresent plastic water bottles.

Tripler Hospital, T-H. Oct 52. Note everpresent clouds.

Beautiful wooden architecture. The stage alone, with its heavy wooden pillars, and certain other elements, is meant to evoke the idea of being in a forest, coming across a clearing, and witnessing spirits or gods dancing. Most Noh theatres I've been to are very brightly lit, and are very modern spaces in the style of the chairs and walls and such. The dark wood, the everpresent wood throughout the design of the room/building, really helps further evoke that idea of the forest.

See where this picture was taken. [?]

Cold weather, sniffles, colds, and the everpresent sore throat.... I'm snuggled up in layers, taking Tar-jay brand nyquil, and off to bed on day 129.

Unfortunately PC probs didn't let me post this until this morning, but it was taken last night.

Oldest hotel in KTM. With the everpresent poinsettias in the foreground of the garden - the only place in Thamel you don't have to spend any money.

I am not yet tired of looking out the window during plane trips. On the way down to Atlanta I spotted D.C. (thanks Pentagon!) but little else thanks to an everpresent haze which only broke as we made our way to San Antonio.

I love how the clouds look like little rocks you can leap about on. I believe that's Louisiana underneath us.

Also, as we flew over the southern states I would occasionally see pits of smoke drag into the air. My Googling has been unable to hit upon the right keyword to explain what they were, though.

And construction barrel, everpresent.

We stayed for a while in the pass over High Atlas, to look for birds special for that area and to have a snack.

This dog was probably looking out for one of the everpresent herds of goats and/or sheep, but it had bigger interest in our bread...

It was very well-mannered and got some bits of rather old bread as a reward.

As you can see, it was a very windy place.

My contribution to the Mothers' Day theme: Pon is your maid for the week. If only, lol!

She fluoresces even in reflected background light. Precious Zombuki girl.

Tuk-tuk driver waiting for me to drop off bike. Tuk-tucks are everywhere in Bangkok, a sort of mini-bike/golf cart hybrid. They look fun and can be, they are also a good way to get ripped off and occasionally end up somewhere else than where you asked for. But out in the smaller cities, like Sukhothai, there's little to worry about. In Bangkok the taxis are not very expensive, are more dependable, and AIR CONDITIONED. If you're feeling adventureous, take the motorcycle taxi. They are very cheap and you won't need anymore thrills after zipping in and out of Bangkok traffic on a rice rocket driven by a seeming madman who doesn't speak English. But honestly, they are fast and dependable. Maybe, though, take the helmet if they offer it to you.

Shortly after being frisked because a drug sniffing dog liked the smell of my ankles. I blame either that I stayed in an apartment that had a dog or that I sat next to a homeless guy as he smoked crack the night before. Also, the fact that a drug-sniffing-dog in Amsterdam probably has had it's nose blown-out by the everpresent stench of weed.
