This image was taken at sunrise in the Smoky Mountains. As the sun rose, the light was continually changing from the beautiful purples and oranges to these softer and warmer colors, which were also amazingly beautiful and majestic.

Mechanical and functional requirements worked out between TBS and Citizen シチズン Watch Company, Tokyo.
Developer: TBS Tokyo Broadcasting System, Akasaka, Tokyo
Date: Installed December, 1992.
Hundertwasser comment about the work:
This monument is a token, a landmark serving as an ambassador for a peace treaty between men and nature. (...) A consciousness of eternal cycles in harmony with nature and human creation becomes vital, just as timeless constant values, the knowledge of the cosmos where no up and no down exists, no right and no left. It is not the time, which is important but the cycle which develops in organical, beautiful form. Time should create new life, slowly, in spiral form, vegetativ and creative. Time should not destroy past time, should not create last panic before the time of tomorrow. The idea of counting time is a human misleading idea, an invention like the straight line, but there is only eternity developing in an organical cycle. (...) The same water is permanently flowing through the purification plant. The way of the water through the roots of the plants takes about 1 hour. The roots of these waterplants are producing oxygen and are turning what we call dirt into plant substance. We become witness of a permanent purification and renewal process in harmony with the laws of nature. (excerpt from Hundertwasser's text of August 1992) (from: Hundertwasser 1928-2000, Catalogue Raisonné, Vol. 2, Taschen, Cologne, 2002, p. 1261)
Information:
Hundertwasser designed the ecological monument for the Tokyo Broadcasting System (TBS) in commemoration of the company's fiftieth anniversary in 2001. The digital display of a Citizen Clock, which could be read from both sides, counted down the days to the anniversary. The monument was erected on the TBS grounds in Midoriyama/Yokohama in December 1992 and moved to Akasaka in 1994. The accompanying program upon arrival of this event with the theme "Our Beloved Planet, Earth" was focusing on the everchanging Japan, the global environment and mankind. (Source: hundertwasser.com).

I've seen pictures of the tunnel at Chicago O'Hare airport before, and finally got to see it in person today. The lights above the moving walkway and on the walls ripple through the length of the tunnel in an everchanging rainbow of colors, accompanied by the soothing tones of the United Airlines trademark music. It would have been nice to have a tripod, but I was travelling light on a short business trip and only had the camera and 50mm lens.

Taken near the cork kerry border. The boats are probably on the cork side and the mountains on the kerry side. The light was simply gorgeous at this point in the golden hour before sunset everchanging and casting lovely shadows on the mountain and light on the boats I loved the different colours and types of old fishing boats and the way they were all lined up.I used a 2 stop grad over the sky in the first one and an inverted 1 stop over the boats and water. In the second one i used a nd filter as the boats were quite still and got away with a 5 sec exposure,i wasnt crazy about the large shadow on the mountain in the second one but i loved the water.Near ardgroom beara peninsula co cork.View on black.
before the historic hofgarten in munich, an elderly man, dressed in a dark suit with a striking yellow tie, stands with an air of quiet vigilance. he appears to be the guardian of this place, observing the tourists who reach out to touch the lion statue, a gesture believed to bring good fortune. the contrast between the bustling curiosity of the visitors and the calm, watchful demeanor of the man creates a scene rich with storytelling. the timelessness of the location is echoed in the guardian's presence, symbolizing the silent keepers of tradition amidst the ever-changing flow of life.
This is an old selfie from my studio or tiny room where I made art in Vienna... I look dangerous, but even though I carried a lot of anger inside, I was never any danger to living people...
...I am of a very non-violent nature...
But actually I think it is more of a disappointment on the state of my life rather than true anger!

Café frequenters Episode 149
--------------------------------------------
...Jimmy was in a room, a surrealistic psychedelic room, the lights where intense almost hurting his special senses but no light-source could be found...
He was alone in this room, when he tried to focus his eyes on the wall blocked out by the strong light he saw that it had psychedelic patterns in different colors, these patterns changed over time to form new interesting contrasting textures....
...all the sudden he wasn´t alone in the room any longer!
...he thought that is strange since non of my bio-sensitive applications notice a living presence, where the faulty again?
...when he thought this minute thought he could feel the body heat of another flesh-creature...
He again tried to focus his ordinary human eyes since he thought his special senses was no longer working...
...there he saw a bearded face, mostly a fluffy white beard actually and a pair of hazel brown mild eyes behind a heap of wrinkles...
...The beard said: Hi I am god and you are Jimmy!
...Jimmy asked in a firm steady voice: Am I dead then?
..the white beard said: no, then he paused and a more sinister evil look started forming in his wrinkles around the eyes, then they started glowing in a orange intense glow...
...he took a firm grip on his own ears hidden behind his white hair and then pulled....
Jimmy thought: Oh Now, it is the Daemon pretending to be god!
then Jimmy woke up he was "driving a car" it was dark and judging by the lights as fast and honking sounds of angry cars quickly made him try to grasp his position in space-time...
He had fallen asleep at the Motorway yet again without turning on his built-in Autopilot program...
He must have drifted over to the opposite side in some Junction? or, or was it another Hack-attack by the Daemon?
...of cause with his lightning-reflexes it was no problem dodging the metallic projectiles in for of automobiles advancing towards him...
...Ok he admitted there was one of two frontal paint job scrapings, but not any problem he actually liked the hellish metals sounds it created...
He, drove across a fiend of wheat stranded his vehicle with a smash to a parked lorry from Bulgaria...
...He left the demolished wreck and brushed any glass splinter from his head and body...
...Then he saw a McDonalds and it was even open, what a piece of luck Jimmy thought to himself, now he could get a cheeseburger and run a check of his programs and evaluate his precent status!

The colours of the sunrise are best in the cooler weather.

As fast as it comes, it disappears in just a few minutes.
The everchanging colours of the sky......isn't nature amazing!

SETAGAYPARK - Japanese Garden in Vienna-Austria
Setagayapark was designed 1922 by landscape gardener Ken Nakajima from Japan. Twincity and cultural agreements have existed for many years between Vienna's Döbling district and Setagaya, a suburb of Tokyo. The park was laid out near a retirement home. Setagayapark emulates a Japanese landscape with several ponds and streams, and it contains the densely-planted garden elements that are typical of Japanese gardens. There is a Japanese tea house, a "Yukimi style" stone lantern, several stone sculptures and a fountain, as well as a poem set in stone at the entrance to the garden. The interesting plantings with Japanese maple, ornamental cherry trees and moor bedding plants such as azaleas are particularly noteworthy. The rich variety of plants creates an everchanging display of blossom and transformations from season to season. The purpose of this design is that "people should observe this work of art in tranquillity and try to find their own inner peace."

The Class 456 were a later introduction to the south London scene with 24 units being ordered by Network South East to suppliment the Class 455's out of Waterloo on the South West Division. However, a change of mind saw them delivered to the South Central Lines where they worked with Class 455's and on their own.
They were delivered with the Class 320/321 cab design but with added jumpers and brake pipes on the front which messed up the front lines somewhat.
They carried on with the Connex South Central then the Southern franchaises before being replaced by 5 car Class 377/6 units.
They were then transferred to South Western Trains/Railways in 2014 to aid the move to 10 coach trains out of Waterloo.
Once again they found themselves surplus to requirements when following Covid the railways around London were found to be quieter than before, so DfT decided they must go, and they did within a few weeks in early 2022 and they are already being sent for scrap.
They also worked in and out of Victoria via Clapham Junction and here we see 456001 departing Clapham for Victoria with the half built Shard in the background. 31st May 2011
Hearst Castle: The Neptune Pool
Designed by Julia Morgan in the Roman temple style, this pool was rebuilt three times in 1924-1936 to suit the everchanging tastes of William Randolph Hearst, the owner of this incredible estate. Many pieces that are part of the pool ensemble are authentic Roman artefacts that were imported from Italy.
Waited ages for the sun to dip below the low rain clouds before basking the yellow rapeseed oil crop in golden sunlight.

Miguel Chevalier’s Origin of the World Bubble 2018, suspended high above Oxford Circus. The interactive piece has been specially commissioned to fit the world-famous site, a key digital playground for pedestrians during the event.
Inspired by the world of microbiology and the constant movement and division of cells, Chevalier (France), with software by Cyrille Henry, creates a new kind of “technological baroque” of everchanging universes, where organic and pixelated images mingle, change shape, speed up and slow down.
Suspended above iconic Oxford Circus, Origin of the World Bubble 2018 responds to the movements of the viewer below, transforming from black and white to vivid, colour-saturated visual experiences reminiscent of op-art and 1970s psychedelia.

the view from the right side of the plan on the trip from San Francisco to San Diego will have your nose pressed to the window the entire time. The route follows the coast, and the view with the everchanging coast line and rolling green hills of winter is stunning !
Something about this arrangement on my husband's desktop struck me as interesting - perhaps it's the intersection of old (pen & paper, 10-key calculator, eyeglasses, landline phone, envelopes, printed magazine, AARP cards) with new technology - (Kindle, IPad, smartphone, Xfinity router, wireless keyboard and mouse, desktop computer with back up hard drive).
All of the gadgets and technology we rely on have enriched our lives immeasurably - but have also made them complicated and costly !
Now if this was a picture of my desk it would include cameras, lenses, filters, hoods, camera cables, Photoshop books, back up drives, photography magazines....

New Years Eve and have just arrived at Paturau at last the road wasn't in the best of shape. We were inviited to spend New years eve here with a few friends. Were going to stay a few days the weather is going to get bad so only stayed one night...it was a wonderful place and would have loved to stay longer.
Paturau is located on Golden Bay's Tai Tapu Coast, about 1 hour 20 minute's travel from Takaka. The winding gravel road past Westhaven Inlet is carved through some of New Zealand's most spectacular estuarine landscape with its everchanging tides, nikau palms and limestone bluffs. The house is nestled on 15 acres of farmland, sand dunes, macrocarpas and coastal bush between the Tasman Sea and the Paturau River.
The house we are staying at was built in the 1920's. The area is full of historical interest from the early Maori inhabitants to the gold and coal miners, flax millers and loggers of the past, and the present day sheep and cattle farmers.

The ever changing colours of the sky with the sun and clouds are just like a piece of live art.
I love watching the sunrise, the colours changes so quickly and with a blink of the eye it dissappears....and another art work will appear.
Isn't nature amazing and wonderful.

'Cast a Long Shadow'
Grainy, I know, but I liked the long shadow created by the parking lot security lights way back up the trail to the beach!
Good morning, ya'll! I hope your Saturday is user friendly! I didn't title this morning's shoot 'everchanging' for nothing...the weather changed every 30 minutes! I drove to the beach in fog, which cleared away just before dawn...clear skies for a few minutes, then heavy clouds moved in on strong winds...the sunrise was obliterated by the clouds, so I finally gave up on battling the wind...as I left the beach, the clouds broke up for awhile, and I managed to get a few shots then...after that interlude, the clouds and wind took over again!
I did manage to get enough captures to have more to add tomorrow...including some cool sand sculptures I happened upon! An early morning at the Gulf is always unpredictable...LOL : )

I so miss living near the beach up the coast as every morning was paradise and hundreds of shots as it was everchanging as the light rose. This was taken about 8 yrs ago when I was staying just across from the beach. I always jumped out of bed at very first light and sometimes I would be running especially if there were clouds as that is when the magic happens.......
