A close-up of part of the art glass installation in the Atrium of the Federation Square in Melbourne. It's just one frozen moment of a hypnotic display of ever-changing combinations of the collection of suspended glass discs with changing filtered sunlight (from the glass windows) and the wind from the open entrance.

I met up with Jeff Smallwood and JP Benante at Sandy Point this morning.

If you get a chance, check out their streams!

The sun never came out this morning, but the fog was nice and misty, not too dense.

Brick Lane is an area of London which is home to an everchanging exhibition of street art. They do not stay up long, so it is always a new experience when visiting. At the moment there are several pieces relating to the terrible situation in Ukraine. This was one of the best I saw.

White Sands – Like No Place Else on Earth

The term “sand” is a bit of a misnomer as the material is not silicone but rather gypsum instead. The glistening white sands in New Mexico are a natural wonder engulfing 275 square miles of desert making it the world’s largest gypsum dune field. Having the grain structure and texture is much softer than silicon sand, the surface is constantly being sculpted by wind. Surfaces take on everchanging patterns while the dunes can reach 18 meters (60 feet) in height. The White Sands National Park in New Mexico experiences little rainfall, so what grows there are mainly different species of cacti such as the yucca in this image. The plants make a stark contrast to the harsh terrain from which they grow. To achieve a more dramatic perspective that would include the cloud formations, I laid on the soft, white sand with the tripod-mounted camera only a few centimeters off the surface.

A shout out to Klaus Schwab, and a shameless plug for his book: “COVID-19: The Great Reset”

Moving goalposts: back and forth they go. Ever-changing rules: who can keep up? Sow the seeds of confusion and fear. The results: brainwashing and social engineering, control and conformity. Follow the cult, follow the abusers. Submit! Follow the restrictions. Endure the isolation. Believe the lies. Keep hoping things will change and get better. In fear—imprison yourselves. In submission—mask up. Breathe in your own exhaust. Impair your immune system. Starve yourselves of oxygen. Bring on dementia. Newborns missing out on talk and touch—less brain development, lower IQs, speech delays. Experimental vaccines, what could go wrong? Support big pharma, who are not liable. Enlarge the coffers of the billionaires (like Bill Gates). Help them kill the middle class, along with small businesses—the economy. Enjoy centralization. Support their corporate monopolies, which sell Chinese junk. Follow the CCP WHO science. Follow the symptoms. Stockholm Syndrome: the biggest mental health crisis of the day.

Our governments are borrowing ideas and techniques from the Soviets and Nazis. They are as rogue as the CIA. They Guantanamo Bay our human rights, using various forms of physical and psychological abuse.

A nation forced to social distance is easier to control. A nation in lock down is easily controlled. Social Media: a great tool for isolating the useless eaters too. Main stream media: owned by very few. Politicians: bought and paid for by foreign and corporate interests. Stand up to the neo-Marxist edu-haters, and you’ll be deemed a domestic terrorist threat. As for the military:

It was a joy to watch the everchanging face of sunrise this morning on another vacation day!

Have a wonderful Friday, everyone!

The scottish highlands are simply amazing if you like nice sceneries, rest, and everchanging weather. The day started with blinding mist, followed by a sunny afternoon, and the mandatory showers in the evening. The storm was fast approaching when Scotrail 156 457 and 156 492 raced through the highlands on its way to Mallaig on the coast.

how can we acknowledge the constructed reality that we are creating every second?

Thy sunbeam comes upon this earth of mine with arms outstretched and stands at my door the livelong day to carry back to thy feet clouds made of my tears and sighs and songs.

With fond delight thou wrappest about thy starry breast that mantle of misty cloud, turning it into numberless shapes and folds and colouring it with hues everchanging.

It is so light and so fleeting, tender and tearful and dark, that is why thou lovest it,

O thou spotless and serene. And that is why it may cover thy awful white light with its pathetic shadows.

-Rabindranath Tagore (Nobel Laureate Indian Poet 1867-1940) : Gitanjali

Another place I never tire of, and photos of which I find everchanging, ever interesting: the mountains, water and sky of our local fjord.

do our desires run; everchanging, beautiful;

This Pacific Northwest Maritime climate means that our summers are softened by the mist and fog, creating an everchanging mood that, for visual artists, is an inspiration!

Inland it's hot, on the other hand: just a few miles away and one is in the dry Mediterranean Climate zone.

California has some of the most varied and numerous species of plants in the world because of all its micro-climates - from the deserts to the grasslands and high altitude Sierras, to the dark ancient Redwood forests and the coastal zones.

These roses were planted by early American settlers who brought their favorite garden varieties with them from the East Coast in the mid-1800's, after the Gold Rush. It rarely freezes along the Pacific here so all kinds of tender plants make it through the winter. Drought tolerant plants are best for the summer because we don't get a drop of rain between June and October. The mist brings welcome moisture.

The beautiful Lamar Valley in Yellowstone is vast and quiet; it doesn't attract nearly as many visitors as the Old Faithful area; we brought our lunch and sat on a log at the vista point for hours, watching the movement of the bison thru the valley and the everchanging cloudscapes. I even took out my seldom used filters and experimented with them - I think the ND filter really helped to bring out the detail in the clouds. The haze in the sky was due to a nearby natural wildfire that had been burning for several days.

If you take a moment to look at the larger size you will see that the tiny black dots are bison.

The beach is everchanging in the tides and the color of the sand is somewhat depending on how moist the sand is.

The sand consists of pure silicon which which among other things seems to be good fo space uses. NASA elegedly comes down to pick some from time to time... Or maybe it's just an excuse to go for a swim.

This is a part of a much bigger panorama but flickr isn't really that well adapted for those.

London Bridge on the Great Ocean Road

See its selection here.. www.flickr.com/photos/vaneramos/galleries/72157722683953004/

Before 1990, London Bridge was exactly that – a bridge that connected the arch of land to the mainland. It got its name from its likeness to its namesake, before being later known as the London Arch. All due to its massive structure collapse on 15th of January 1990, with part of the bridge collapsing into the ocean. Leaving behind a chunk of land isolated in the ocean. However, it didn’t just leave the land isolated though, but tragically leave two tourists stranded. Kelli Harrison and David Darrington were sightseeing at the time, and were suddenly cut off from the mainland, having to wait hours before they could be rescued by a helicopter. There are other rumours surrounding this story, with some people saying that the couple were actually conducting an affair and the newsworthy story blew their cover, but it has yet to be confirmed.

The collapse of the London Bridge highlights the everchanging structure of this coast. With the rocky sandstone cliff shoreline slowly crumbling and shifting in structure due to the continuous erosion of weather and sea. Transforming the region into a new sight every century or so.

London Arch (formerly London Bridge) is an offshore natural arch in the Port Campbell National Park, Australia. The arch is a significant tourist attraction along the Great Ocean Road near Port Campbell in Victoria. This stack was formed by a gradual process of erosion, and until 1990 formed a complete double-span natural bridge.

The formation prior to its collapse when it was still known as "London Bridge", in 1973

The span closer to the shoreline, ironically, collapsed unexpectedly on January 15, 1990,[1][2] leaving two tourists (Kelli Harrison and David Darrington) stranded on the outer span before being rescued by police helicopter.[3] No one was injured in the event. Prior to the collapse, the arch was known as London Bridge because of its similarity to its namesake.
