We entered the field not knowing what to expect. I saw multiple rebels, so I picked off the alien one. The guy behind him hid on the side of the building. Axel and Tof got on top of the building and Filer came with me. I dropped the suited one and Tof dropped down when Filer got blasted by a rebel hiding in the building.

My entry for 'Cake International' @ the NEC, 2011.
I entered into the 'All edible, sculpted' class and won GOLD, Best in class AND "BEST IN SHOW!!!"
He's actually placed on a perspex board and on an invisable stand so he hovers above the table. The wings of the fairy are clear gelatine but you can't really see them from this photo.
I'll see if I can dig out more pics ;O)
The old greenhouses...the ones with glass...are disappearing and being replaced with plastic panels or plastic sheeting. I've decided to track down as many as I can. There is something special (to me) about the old glass, watering systems, etc. I guess I'm just nostalgic about the older ways of doing things...the less commercial...the textures of life back when...
This is the entry walk we had done two years ago - stamped concrete to resemble stone. We're quite pleased with the result.
This is the new added curved "wing" that comes up from the driveway, and meets the site of the previous walk, also newly done.
The proportions here are humbling. Built on the foundation of two earlier Christian churches, Haghia Sophia was inaugurated by Emperor Justinian in 537 AD. Istanbul, Turkey
I'm am ungodly proud of this little picture. There is a group that does contests here on flickr, and this month the contest is tears. I've never done tears, so I hit google to try and find a picture to attempt to recreate using my avatar as a model.
I chose this, and I think I did pretty well. I'm not sure this picture will be accepted for the contest, since it's very close up and the group is a headshots group, but either way I ended up learning SO much about what it takes to make an avatar look more realistic. Great learning experience.
My entry for OcTRAINber 2021 is this 0-4-0 crane tank. Sadly due to delays in progress it's not 100% complete however you could string it up and use the hook at a fixed height.
It has 3 functions in total:
A: forwards/backwards
B: hook raise/lower (not functional due to the 9V micromotor requiring more oomph than the Circuit Cube can provide)
C: arm rotate
It's freelanced but modified to fit into the LEGO® scale, but based off cranes such as Millfield and Glenfield and smaller, industrial crane tanks. It really needs a rework - moving ALL the motors around, and changing the winch motor to be body mounted and making the axle go through the turntable centre to control hook raise/lower than trying to be clever...
snapped seconds before that front door opened
and I was likely questioned about my doings
does anyone else who shoots stuff like this worry about getting a shotgun trained on them?

came across this private house driveway entry! Amazing to see. Wish I could've seen what the house looked like!! at Cedar Creek
There is something so appealing and comforting to all of the different kinds of doors and entries that i see here in Poland. So very different from the pristine entries I am used to seeing in Seattle. The above door has probably been around for hundreds of years....
Second sketch of the wet entry into the city. There is a second entry way but large enough only for a row boat.
The abandoned United Artists Theater, Detroit. Designed 1927 by C. Howard Crane, and later closed as theater in 1974.
For some reason, this is one of my favorite images from my Bodie series. The color, texture, splintered wood, wooden door knob and rusted hardware sort of sum up the appeal of Bodie.
Most of the buildings in the Bodie State Park ghost town have locked doors and you have to peer in the windows to see the scenes of "arrested decay". One would feel like a voyeur there, except everyone else is doing it too :)
A few of the sturdier buildings are residences for the park personnel, and the shades are drawn to keep the nosy tourists out.
A few of the interior scenes, taken thru dusty warped glass windows, are shown below:
Sorry for the repost. The photo you guys saw was the unedited version. Here is the edited one.

One of my entries (or only, I don't know) for the G.I. Brick Contest- New weapons showcasing the M9 in gunmetal.
All weapons are Brickarms and everything else is LEGO.
Enjoy!
