Never expected to be flickr MIA so long! Attempting to refocus now! Excuses, excuses, so many I could give you! ;-) Will be gliding slowly through your streams this week. Looking forward to catching up with all the beauty and creativity that I have missed!
Not my usual style, but when I saw this, I just had to turn around and shoot it.
Explored. Peaked at #70
I've entered these three photos in a CT Audubon photo contest/fundraiser. There was a three photo limit, in seven categories...here are my entries for the insect, plants, and bird categories. The reception is this Friday evening and winning entries will be marked when we arrive - I'll keep you posted. Oh, and most prints entered will be for sale, with a portion of the proceeds benefitting local Audubon programs.
PLEASE CLAWMENT IF YOU FAVE!
My entry to TheLegoZealot contest!
I love idea of redesigning Batman villains!
Here's my rendition of Catwoman.

Saylina Kayl-
The main inspiration was from Egyptian Cats. I figured why not make Catwoman Egyptian inspired.
The torso, legs, and head were all fully painted by me. I tried adding a royal necklace of sorts, maybe something she stole.
Her helmet is the old Catwoman helmet, with details painted on. The claws are a cut chain piece glued to the hand.
The main focus is the Arabic words scattered around the figure.
Huge thanks to Scott Blankfield who suggested adding something above her eyes.
Above her eyes says Cat in Arabic.
Across her eyeholes says "woman".
And her torso says claws, if read sideways.
Anyways, I'm really satisfied with how she came out!
Thanks!

Lane from Gate 6 off North Terrace leading into the old Royal Adelaide Hospital. The purpose of the sign was to stop vehicles from entering past a certain point.
It wasn't far from here that an officious and potbellied security guard tried to tell me and my husband off for being there. We had already spotted him and were leaving, when he ran up and insisted on telling us off. This overactive guy also chased Sedge off the same day!
Actually there was no indication that the lane was off-limits to public pedestrians, unlike the red/white tape and full-on fence further away.
My entry for the preliminary round of biocup2022

The inspiration for this build came from the trans-neon orange kaukau. After adding the matoran, everything clicked into place.
My entry for the September editon of Swebrick Brick Challenge. This time the seed part is 4528 Minifig, Utensil Frying Pan.
My entry for the Terror in Tabletown contest.
Joe is really having a nervous breakdown. He lost his wife who left him for his brother (ah the tenacious cliché...). If he can’t live true happiness, Joe decided that no one was to live happily ever after...ever...He really took the expression “weding crasher” way too seriously.
