Whipped up this nail emoji embroidery for a close friend and fellow over-user of emojis. For it only being my second finished piece, I'm pretty proud of it.
Hung by the front door with a collage of happy wall stuff. :)
Pattern by Elsie Flannigan in the online RVA 'Pretty' Class.
I took a number of photos of this little girl at Madanpura
but this first one was my favourite when she was still a little unsure.
Design Works Crafts still make this kit. I changed the stitches and used pearl cotton the by Coats & Clark. Trying to use up thread I inherited from Aunt Nettie.

I heard the clip from Steven Tyler on NPR and thought it was awesome and needed to be stitched up. So I did.

Hand embroidered and beaded cuff..
My inspiration to create this romantic piece came from François Boucher painting "Winter" (one very cold winter at 1755 was probably His inspiration for the painting :-)
Button stitched with wool and Perle 8 in pink and green which is one of my favorite colour combinations.
