Making some models for the Kreinik booth at Quilt Market. This one uses Kreinik metallic machine sewing thread in stitch stacking techniques for the background "lace", then a digitized design for the poinsettia (Kreinik metallic Gimp threads), and Kreinik's gold ornament frame. I like layering, and it looks rather elegant in person.

I am working on a very special quilt for my Mom and I wanted a special label to go with it. Inspired by my friend Georgia's labels www.flickr.com/photos/georgiamcdonald/3679591633/in/set-7... , I made this. The letters are just under 1/2".... so small. Maybe not the best first project but my Mom will like it cause she's my mom. ;)

Linen cross-stitch embroidered tablecloth and napkins on the front, contemporary cotton on the back.
My mom made this tablecloth years ago. We have some friends visiting, so it was a good excuse to get it out and think of her...
I embroidered this for a Christmas present. I found the pattern on hoop-love, and the colors I used are completely inspired (copied) from a post I found on Craftster. :) I tried a few new stitches on this towel. The middle of the blue flower is my favorite.
This purse was made from a pattern drawn by myself and hand embroidered.

I used several other smaller embroidery designs, and put them together with a duplication tool in the Bernina software to mirror each design like a kaleidescope.
