During the elephant playtime/keepers talk, there's a lot of activity going on.
I'm always impressed by the elephants' balance. On the "balance beam" log, the adult elephants can balance on just 2 legs, and can turn around without stepping off the log.
On this occasion, i don't think Tang Mo got a chance to fully display her skill, as Tukta wanted to join in the fun on the log. I love the way Tukta follows Tang Mo off the log, but rushes back to the log when she notices that Luk Chai is having his turn walking along the log.

The first elephant we saw was in heat - he smelled as strong as a whole zoo and seemed quite aggressive. Also, he had five legs, the fifth of which was NSFW.

I am a sucker for elephants and despite having trekked before, I was tempted by the opportunity to see the inside of the island and also to be with the elephant when it was bathed in the river.
