Innovations in Higher Education: Re-imagining Learning
Had a very interesting (eye opening!) time with a group of C of E and Methodist theological educators, plus a team from CMS to stir the pot.
As is often the case the highlight has been one on one conversations. It has been a very enlightening time for me in terms of clarifying my thinking about the state of the institutional church and its relationship with the emerging church.
There is more to say but I need to be somewhat guarded in my comments for a while.

A gathering of creative minds. Academics from Cranbrook Art Museum, Detroit Institute of Art, The George Washington University Museum and other cultural institutions visited Dabls MBAD African Bead Museum, for a tour of the art installations and to learn about the history of African beads. El Museo del Barrio invited educators to see the newly renovated facilities, including two exceptional inaugural exhibitions: VOCES Y VISIONES: Four decades through El Museo del Barrio's Permanent Collection, and NEXUS NEW YORK: Latin/American Artists in the Modern Metropolis in Manhattan Nov. 12, 2009. The educators enjoyed delicious hors d?oeuvres, sangria, met the education staff and learned about the rich cultural resources El Museo has to offer through our new and exciting Education and Public programs.( Carucha L.
