The Chesmar Foundation and San Jacinto College Foundation are partnering to support Texas residents pursuing a four-year teaching degree at San Jac. The Chesmar Teacher Scholarship Fund will help aspiring educators and address the critical need for qualified teachers in high-need school districts. During the Jan. 29, 2024, Board of Trustees meeting, Chesmar presented a $900,000 check for the scholarship fund.
