El Museo del Barrio invited educators to see the newly renovated facilities, including two exceptional inaugural exhibitions: VOCES Y VISIONES: Four decades through El Museo del Barrio's Permanent Collection, and NEXUS NEW YORK: Latin/American Artists in the Modern Metropolis in Manhattan Nov. 12, 2009. The educators enjoyed delicious hors d?oeuvres, sangria, met the education staff and learned about the rich cultural resources El Museo has to offer through our new and exciting Education and Public programs.( Carucha L. Educators get hands-on experience playing a game called "Who Can Harvest a Walleye" that shows how factors affecting lower parts of the food chain can affect higher levels as well.
