The Valdosta-Lowndes Retired Educators Association meeting was held on Monday, October 8, 2012 at the Holiday Inn in Valdosta, GA. The legislators were present to answer questions before the business meeting and delicious lunch buffet was enjoyed by many.
Educators are FAB, aren’t they? On Wednesday, May 7th, 2025, the LBJ Library held an Educator Appreciation Night– a great party for the wonderful educators in Austin. We were stoked to open the doors to the entire museum to our teachers and provide food and drinks for all. It was far out!

Every year, the College of Education hosts a social for Pullman-area educators, with whom the college has a special relationship.
Lauren Missell understands the value of a safe and positive learning environment. She has been instrumental in helping students of all ability levels learn, grow, and achieve. Her patience and enthusiasm have also helped her to effectively teach classes with as many as 24 students. She's also been helpful in other roles as a substitute librarian and a reading teacher.
