Probably the 'best photo of the day' award goes to Rowan. He had already tried to use our 'Big Biscuit-cam' which didn't work, but on his second attempt using 'Farrow and Ball-cam' he got this stunning result.
Again, everyone was so excited during the developing - we hope you're pleased Rowan!

Profiles in Medical Power- Dr. Francis Obuseh
Dr. Francis Obuseh serves as a US Navy Epidemiologist and Public Health Educator at the Navy and Marine Corps Public Health Center in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Dr. Obuseh projects medical power by ensuring warfighters' readiness through education and analysis of medical and non-medical data. This helps determine the best course of action to minimize outbreaks amongst our sailors and marines and shore up potential vulnerabilities. By collaborating with various teams across the force, he assists in creating user-friendly medical guides and provides subject matter expert support through contingency plans and other forward thinking scenarios. He continues to plan, provide, coordinate, and advise on disease prevention, assessment, and expert data analysis input on public health to deliver public health policies, assurance, and evidence-based training to meet all Navy command's varying needs.

The Valdosta-Lowndes Retired Educators Association et on Monday, November 15, 2011 at the Holiday Inn on W. Hill in Valdosta, GA. Thanks so much to Commissioner Joyce Evans, Mayor Pro Tem Alvin Payton, and Mrs. Pat Hester for being our guests and program speakers. It was a wonderful meeting, as Commissioner Evans and
Mayor Pro Tem Payton, along with our own Ron Irwin, read County, City. and Gubernatorial proclamations
commemorating Retired Teachers Day in Georgia! Mrs. Hester presented information on the need for
good nutrition and exercise for seniors. She even got us off our "chairs" and moving around.
The meetings are a great time to get back with friends and make new ones.

Arlington National Cemetery represents many things to many Americans, some it is a chance to walk among headstones that chronicle American history; for many it is an opportunity to remember and honor the nation's war hereos; and for others, its a place to say a last farewell during funeral services. The U.S. Army Harrisburg Recruiting Battalion sponsored 24 Pennsylvania educators' and community leaders' during April 18-21, 2011 for the 2011 U.S. Army Educators' and Community Leaders' Tour to the Military District of Washington including visits to the Pentagon, Fort Myer and Fort Belvoir.
