I think top left a female ( larger and ovipositor) and the rest males. Bottom right was running around with head down and bum up - any idea why ?

Editor’s Note: There are a myriad of tangible benefits resulting from research and technology demonstrations performed aboard the International Space Station. Throughout the months ahead, we will release stories from the updated “International Space Station Benefits for Humanity” book to highlight the ways in which the station impacts life on Earth. The current Veggie investigation on station provides lighting and nutrient supply for a space garden, which may also supply fresh food for crew members on the orbiting laboratory and on future long-duration missions like the Journey to Mars. This and previous plant growth studies, like the one below, help create technology to enable NASA exploration to the planets beyond while improving plant growth methods on Earth.
Some of the most important tasks in space biology include the creation of reliable and effectively functioning life support systems, and providing sustaining food sources for crew members. For long-term interplanetary spaceflights and planetary bases, the human life support system and food production has to be based on regenerating the living environment from life support products through physical/chemical and biological processes. Greenhouses will most likely be designed for the cultivation of vegetables, primarily greens and herbs. However, in order to implement these plans, plants must grow, develop, and reproduce in spaceflight with cultivation productivity similar to Earth. To address this need, a series of 17 Rasteniya experiments were conducted from 2002-2011 using the Lada greenhouse on the Russian segment of the International Space Station.

Something a little different than my usual posts, too good not to share. It's a fascinating concept that compares astronomy images from NASA's Chandra X-ray Observatory to various Earth images, drawing parallels of composition and color. The series is called "From the Earth to the Heavens." Please view in large to get the best view of images and clear text.

One of my immediate thoughts for this first redress of Darius (I refuse to call him Gus, he should never have had his name stolen) was to create a tribute to Edward Enninful, Ghanaian-British Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue. I was completely charmed by him when I heard him interviewed on Radio 4's Desert Island Discs. Edward started out as a model before becoming fashion director for the magazine i-D - he was the youngest ever fashion director for an international publication at the age of 18. He is a huge promoter and supporter of diversity both in his editorial team and between the pages of the magazine.
Unfortunately I only had an edition of Spanish Vogue to use for this photoshoot 😅 Maybe Edward is going to take it over?

I need to know guys: what are some of the most beautiful bratz dolls that are not on an articulated body/movie body/taller body? Im asking for amazon giftcards for Christmas (my grandparents wont be here so I get my gift in November) and I want to know whos the most beautiful and which movie body skin tone they match! I want Princess Jade terribly but I cant afford 180 dollars! Please help! Any doll - except boyz!
By beautiful I mean make up, hair (preferably long hair), and clothing and shoes!

Magazine editor, science fiction writer and literary agent Forrest J Ackerman lived in the modest California bungalow until his death in 2008. Widely considered "the father of science fiction," Ackerman represented Ray Bradbury, Isaac Asimov and L. Ron Hubbard, among many others.
For many years the house was used as a private museum for his extensive collection of Sci-Fi, Fantasy, and Horror memorabilia dubbed the "Acker-Mini-Mansion." It was open to visitors every Saturday, free of charge, until Ackerman's death in 2008.
Friends and fans of Ackerman gathered at the corner of Franklin and Vermont Avenue to honor his memory with the dedication of the Forrest J Ackerman Square on Thursday, November 17, 2016. The ceremony took place in front of Ackerman’s favorite restaurant, the House of Pies where he was a regular customer, and a few short blocks from the bungalow he called home (451 Russell Avenue).
