The earthy essence of boho living brought me to Africa and to these amazing creatures, deeply connected to nature that I have always been fascinated with. JIAN African Elephant collection includes a companion, a mounted version and a wanderer, and super cute animations such as the water bath and even a dance.
I am wearing MINA and EPOCH releases for the ongoing boho chic fest, Velvet Bohème:
MINA Ygritte hairstyle is just perfection. Beautiful PBR textures and the perfect framing of the face, with options to include the braids in front and change the beads of the braids.
EPOCH knocked it out of the park with Rayna set. Baggy flowy pants, puffed-sleeve top and sandals putting together one of my favorite looks available at Velvet Bohème, with several color and prints options to mix and match in the full pack.

Portland & Western's eastbound Toledo Hauler meanders through the moist lichen and moss covered landscape near Nortons, Oregon. After waiting here for 15-20 minutes for the train to arrive, I think I walked out of here covered in lichen and moss myself.
Korth's Meadow - Iowa
Out hiking around the park and meadow area watching these magnificent clouds move along the eastern horizon . . . the result of a storm front moving to the northeast.
Earthy late autumn colors are as beautiful to me as the full bouquet of early fall foliage.

Beautiful Earthy Webcap in Salcey Forest, The smell of this species is very distinctive and a good indicator. This year has seen a number of smaller Webcaps but none of the large, impressive Webcaps which usually appear. I can only put this down to the record breaking hot summer.
And once more, the palette changes... the yellows, golds, and earthy browns of fall have vanished beneath the first layer of winter white... as they must. When I saw the snow coming down shortly before midnight, I quickly threw on my winter clothes, grabbed my tripod and a single lens, and went for a walkabout. So different!
I made this shot outside the Seniors Centre on Railway Avenue. Clean fresh snow. Sleeping village in the background. I hoped no one was awake, watching, perhaps thinking I was creepy. I'm not even slightly creepy. Just chasing the light, trying for a different look.
From a 1970 song:
"Now you know what they say about snowflakes
How there ain't no two the same
Well all them flakes look alike to me
Every one is a dirty shame
My ears are cold, my feet are cold
Bermuda stays on my mind
And I'm here to say that if winter comes
Spring is way behind"

Scott Falls
Alger County
Michigan
Nestled along the shores of Lake Superior near Munising, Michigan, Scott Falls offers a serene escape into nature's artistry during the summer months. The delicate waterfall cascades gently over a sandstone ledge. Framed by lush green foliage, the falls are a picturesque gem surrounded by the earthy scent of the forest. The nearby whisper of Lake Superior and the rustling of leaves in the warm summer breeze make this spot a tranquil haven for nature lovers and photographers alike. Scott Falls embodies the quiet beauty of Michigan's Upper Peninsula.

Ok... So I tried to use GIMP with the picture here, and it completely backfired. I was unbelievably confused on what to do and... Just, yeah. I need to read up on it.
ANYWAYS, this would be my early SHIP for SHIPtember. Yes, I know, I'm about 2 weeks ahead of time, but I wouldn't have been able to participate during September because of school (bleh...) The back is dark green, and the front is dark orange. As you may see, the colors on the SHIP keep going... eh... downwards, I guess, in the scale of the earth. Starting with various types of green, reaching down to what's in the earth, which is D. tan, brown, medium nougat (whatever those bricks are), and D. orange, For some reason, I decided to add some Western figures to it, because... reasons. I thought it looked cool and a little fitting, to be honest.
This is still a WIP, essentially. Feel free to comment with constructive criticism. Thanks!

This colour version of a previous shot to show it doesn't take much rain to give the water that brown earthy look as it travels from the peaty hilltop and down the valley. However as we haven't had that much rain I need to come back when its at full bore !!

Prompt: Painting of an American Kestrel Falcon in mid-flight, talons outstretched, about to land on a moss-covered branch. The hawk has a mottled brown and white plumage, with a dark brown tail and wings. The background is blurred with warm, earthy tones, suggesting a forest setting. The lighting is natural. --ar 4:5 --sw 20

Cystoderma amianthinum, commonly called The Saffron Parasol, The Saffron Powder-cap, or Earthy Powder-cap, is a small orange-ochre, or yellowish-brown, gilled fungus. It grows in damp mossy grassland; in coniferous forest clearings, or on wooded heaths. It is probably the most common of the small Cystoderma species. Possibly edible, it is not recommended due to its unpleasant odour and resemblance to poisonous species.
Super group of Earthy Webcaps under a large oak in Salcey Forest. The smell is very distinctive making this an easy Webcap to identify.
A healthy one. Oddly there were far fewer than the last few years and yet the very rare Powdercap Strangle appeared for the first time. The Parasite grows up through the stem and puts out a purple mushroom cap. It is much smaller than the host .
