Bei leichtem Schneetreiben geben sich gleich mehrere Exoten ein Stelldichein an der Endstelle Heide.
Links steht die von Tw 864 geführte GT4-Traktion, in der Mitte steht der von Tw 1151 geführte Muster-T4DC/B4DC-Großzug und rechts die beiden Heck-an-Heck gekuppelten ZT4D 902/900 (ex 901). Dieses Bild entstand im Rahmen einer Sonderfahrt mit der Heck-an-Heck-Traktion, die beiden anderen Züge arrangierten sich aus reinem Zufall hinzu.

Aero Union operated 8 ex-USN P-3A; based at Chico Municipal Airport in Chico, California and converted into aerial firefighting platforms. Aero Union shut down and put its Orions up for auction in 2011.

5 Ex Australian BHP Billiton SD70ACe's trail dead in tow on NS W75, bound for its eventual destination of Mayfield, KY. BHP traded out these tired, noisy, non isolated cabbed SD70ACes for new ones to work in the mines down under. These old units are headed for Progress Rail to be rebuilt and perhaps used on another railroad, such as MRL in Montana.
Former Go-Ahead London WVL 265 is a Volvo B7TL Wright Eclipse Gemini Last with Go North East and now with Go-South Coast (More) and is seen in Wimborne on Route 6.

Ex LMS 8F 2-8-0 48151 returning to York, passing Towthorpe on the way back from the coast, with that familiar clanking sound.
The Stanier workhorse was rostered on the Scarborough Spa Expresses that Summer.
With 13 carriages in tow this was one of the heavier loads that season.

I made a trip to Chicago in January of 1989, during that trip we also went north to Green Bay as well as various other spots. One railroad on our list was the Wisconsin Central. We saw some SD45s in the Chicago area in fresh paint but when we went north while we saw some WC painted units we also saw units from Soo Line that had been transferred to the WC but had yet to be painted in WC colors. Seen here are two ex-Soo GP30s in Black Creek, WI

Former Brighton & Hove Volvo B10BLE Wright Renown R223 HCD seen at the Port of Newhaven. This bus is still in daily use although only operates 3 times a day on the 5 minute round trip from the boat to the terminal.

A cave or cavern is a natural underground void large enough for a human to enter.
A beautiful example, very well lit by a wise set of lamps, is again within the beautiful national park of the Colli Euganei (30 km south west from where I live, Padova, Italy).
The colors are exaggerated by the lights used to please us visitors. There is NO post production and the shot has been made hand-held (holding my breath too) with the great Ultra Wide Angle lens 10-20 EX.

Seen on SWR Rail Replacement at Staines Station.
An unexpected spot on this Rail Replacement 'rally' was this Wright Streetdeck, originally new to Arriva in Kent for evaluation purposes.
As it has the Hallmark Connections legals, it would appear it is permanently allocated to the Heathrow base so begs the question of what it will be used on.
