Eind 2021 werd bekend gemaakt dat de "NiederÖsterreichbahnen" een 4de ex ÖBB 1099 terug zou gaan opknappen. De keuze viel op de 1099.011 die al enkele jaren afgesteld stond in Ober-Grafendorf. De kleurstelling die de loc zou krijgen bleef nog even een raadsel, maar op 9-2-2022 werd er bekend gemaakt dat deze loc zijn Jaffa schildering terug zou krijgen. Tot grote tevredenheid van vele fans van de Mariazellerbahn.
Ik vind het zeer knap en bijzonder dat deze mensen erin slagen om een meer dan honderd jaar oude locomotief terug op te knappen en terug in dienst te nemen. Chapeau!
Op 16 december 2018 kon ik de 1099 011 fotograferen in Ober-Grafendorf.

At the ADM plant in Enderlin, this ex IC GP10 resides as the switcher. It appears this did receive a new paint job at some point, but it has faded significantly over the years, and the IC heritage is now quite apparent. Not much info I could find on this locomotive, but it was a neat find. In light of recent news, I went to the tornado path online, and found out this photo was taken less than a mile from where the EF5 had struck. Can't imagine what it must have been like that night.
CN 3984 and CN 3941 lead CN 435 through Copetown on a dreary afternoon.
These have been hard to get leading on the Dundas Sub due to their lack of PTC reportedly. Good thing this train goes as far as London!

Many years ago farms were used by farmers. They had animals and there fields to work on. Today our food comes from a shop and farms are converted into places were rich people live.
[ITA] Quella che vediamo raffigurata in transito con un regionale veloce, da Sassuolo a Modena, nella stazione di Fornaci (MO) è classificata come Ale054 (in Italia) o AM 54 (in Belgio) in livrea Gtt, questa in particolare è l'unità numero 04. Ordinate dal Belgio da diverse compagnie private effettuano ancora oggi servizio regionale sulle linee FER. Costruite nel 1954 sono dei veri pezzi di storia, usate per il trasporto regionale belgo fino agli inizi degli anni '80 e poi declassate a servizio postale; infatti per svolgere tale compito le ultime unità belghe rimaste vennero completamente modificate: tutti i finestrini vennero chiusi, messe a unico conducente (unico finestrino frontale) e vennero dotate una livrea rossa con strisce gialle.
In Belgio smisero di circolare alla fine degli anni '90.

Ex Coelis Mountain is a 8,350-foot mountain with five peaks located in the North Saskatchewan River valley of the Canadian Rockies of Alberta, Canada. It is situated south of Abraham Lake and just outside the eastern boundary of Banff National Park. Its nearest higher peak is Hatter Peak, 5.0 mi to the southeast. Ex Coelis Mountain can be seen from the David Thompson Highway east of Saskatchewan Crossing. In Latin, Ex Coelis means Out of the Clouds. Sastrugi, or zastrugi, are features formed by erosion of snow by wind. They are found in polar regions, and in snowy, wind-swept areas of temperate regions, such as frozen lakes or mountain ridges.
Ex ospedale psichiatrico di Volterra nacque nel 1887 per il ricovero di malati mentali, chiuso nel 1978 a seguito della legge n°180. Un vero peccato vedere un posto con un grande parco e varie strutture in completo abbandono. negli anni son stati fatti tanti murales che rendano questo posto interessante per spunti fotografici . Credetemi una visita all'interno è scioccante e pericoloso ma stupendo allo stesso tempo,
