The Epping Fusion Project was a period recreation with a modern twist.

Hammer action, gas power, and even incorporating a tactical rail system; the EFP was the Brainchild of Markus Epping.

More Form than Functionality, this almost piece of art still performed fantastically at the range.

Finally autumn has come to Epping Forest, UK

London Transport trains

A quite open area in early spring, mostly oak and hornbeam. The latter have mostly been pollarded in the fairly distant past.

Last Sunday I was lucky enough to have some time for photography. I decided to head back into Epping Forest to see if I still had my tree mojo. Here are three images I made while standing in the rain.

Epping (F) Moon light

Epping Forest in Autumn.

Dick Turpin rode through here, Boudica made camp before sacking London and massacring the Romans, the history goes back to primitive man who made stockades here to keep cattle and protect their tribes.

With such a grat place neraby, my landscapes might get better, too ;-) Sadly my Sigma lens I used, which hit the ground a few weeks ago seem to have some serious unsharpness about them now, especially wide open :(

Hope you had a lovley Saturday, too! Thanks for stopping by! :)

July 1981. A scene that is little changed now (apart from the vegetation on the left!)

Whilst you won't see a London Country AN today, you may well see an RT on the London Bus Co. registered 339 service to Shenfield (in connection with the Epping-Ongar Railway!)

Of course at this time tube trains were still running to Ongar.

RM1993 running on route 339, the Epping Ongar railway shuttle. Seen here at Epping Station.
