USS Enterprise – Star Trek Micro Fleet
Needs a little more detailing on the top of the saucer, but given the small size, I thought the overall proportions worked out pretty well.
This model of the fictional starship Enterprise was used in the weekly hour-long "Star Trek" TV show, which aired from September 1966 until June 1969 on NBC-TV. Despite its short initial run, Star Trek became one of the most popular shows in the history of television. Highlighted in this image are the command section, engineering section, and engine pods.

The space shuttle Enterprise is seen mated on top of the NASA 747 Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) flying over NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, MD, Friday, April 27, 2012. Space Shuttle Transition and Retirement engineers Saturday completed the final steps to ready Space Shuttle Enterprise for its flight to New York’s John F. Kennedy International Airport. Enterprise, the first orbiter built for the Space Shuttle Program, was used primarily for ground and flight tests within the atmosphere. The initial testing period named Approach and Landing Test (ALT) included a flight on February 18, 1977 atop a Shuttle Carrier Aircraft (SCA) to measure structural loads and ground handling and braking characteristics of the mated system. Enterprise will go on permanent display at the Intrepid Sea Air and Space Museum in New York in June.

Here I have constructed a mini model one of the most iconic science fiction ships: NCC-1701, USS Enterprise, Constitution class sharship. The model took me a few days to figure out, but I'm still not completely happy with it. I'm limited on bricks so the colors of this ship are not quite what I want them to be, but I like the model nonetheless.
Enterprise and her sister ship are designed to conduct survey operations in support of submarines or amphibious operations. She can provide almost real-time tailored environmental information, and also has a secondary role as a mine countermeasure tasking authority platform, for which she is capable of embarking a dedicated mine counter measures command team.
Small plastic model (13cm long) illuminated by battery. Made for Running Press in China.
The box includes the starship, stand and a 32 page booklet on the Enterprise.
Photographed so as not to see the stand.

Cheltenham Gold Cup Day 2007 and an early start to the day was rewarded by this image of EWS Class 60 60074 near Badgeworth with the overnight 6V19 18:02 Immingham to Margam 'Enterprise' running a 100+ minutes late. The front portion of the train comprised aluminium ingots from Lynemouth being conveyed on BDA/BEA bogie bolster wagons en route to Newport Docks from where transfer to road haulage for the short journey to Rogerstone would be completed.

Work, taking care of business, and a walk in the local cemetery.
Cemeteries seem to have a flavor each their own, and sometimes it changes drastically across the nation/world. This one was full of family plots covered in gravel with grass in between. Many Confederate soldiers buried here too judging by the Confederate flags marking them. Some legible and some not. Some of the older graves were just stones laid on the ground. This was one of those. A marker for a 2 year old who died in 1906.

But angels loved Him more
And they sweetly called Him

The new Enterprise livery applied to Northern Ireland Railways 8209 is seen at North Wall in Dublin 3 having operated the 0815 hrs IWT freighter service from Ballina to Dublin Port.
8209 is the first engine to receive the revised Enterprise livery, having been released into service the day before, also on the IWT run, while the first set of carriages are going through a refurbishment programme at Fort William in Belfast as the jointly NIR/ Irish Rail Enterprise is given a make over due to be launched March 2015 onwards.
Engine 8209 is seen below having arrived down from Ballina just before entering the Irish Rail North Wall compound around 13.30 hrs prior to continuing down Alexandra Road & into Dublin Port. It usually waits here for the empty Tara Mines coming up from the port.
This is a recreation of the original set of the Bridge of the USS Enterprise or the Sci-Fi television series 'Star Trek'. The original would have been destroyed after filming which was normal practice during the 60's.
The consul in the forground is the helm. Beyond that is the Captain's chair. At the back is the Science and Communications Stations. The screens at the top of the bulkhead display static images of cosmic scenes and never changed during the whole series.
The bridge is the nerve centre for the USS Enterprise from where all necessary operations on the ship are overseen. The bridge is located under the dome on top of the saucer section of starship. The Captain takes the centrally located command chair and works with his/her commanders who are stationed around the bridge to monitor the information displays showing everything from engineering, gravity control and flight control,
Star Trek is an American science fiction media franchise based on the television series created by Gene Roddenberry. The first television series, simply called Star Trek and now referred to as The Original Series, debuted in 1966 and aired for three seasons on the television network NBC. It followed the interstellar adventures of Captain James T. Kirk (William Shatner) and his crew aboard the starship USS Enterprise, a space exploration vessel, built by the interstellar federal republic United Federation of Planets in the twenty-third century. The Star Trek canon of the franchise includes The Original Series, an animated series, four spin-off television series, its film franchise and an upcoming television series scheduled to debut in 2017.
This recreated set was at Star Trek: The Exhibition, on Blackpool's Golden Mile (or Promenade) which tells the story of the intergalactic drama, which almost stalled after three series after cosmic rival Star Wars came along.
Costumes, scripts, and props from the desks of Star Trek's leading pilots all feature, as well as this reconstructions of the USS Enterprise bridge there is its famous transporter for the ultimate photo opportunity.
