So this is not necessarily 10 of 1000, I've actually done others recently...they've just sucked.
This is my latest stab at a poster I'm doing. I'm going to redo it tonight though.
The face is a little too masculine, and I'd prefer to actually see her eye. Also, despite the fact that I like the boa, I'm replacing it with "flapper beads".
I'm obsessing over the idea that this is a moment between movements, and out of the corner of her eye, this dancer makes eye contact with ONE person for the briefest second.

The Saturn V Dynamic Test Stand was used in 1966-67 for ground vibration testing of the Saturn V launch vehicle and the Apollo spacecraft. Completion of this program was the final step prior to the launch of Apollo 11, the first manned lunar landing mission. In 1972-73 the stand was used for tests involving the Skylab Space Station; and in 1978-79 for ground vibration testing of the complete Space Shuttle vehicle.

Two of eight Short-eared Owls putting on a great aeriel display. Not the best of shots as fading light, so high ISO, and a big crop, but hope the subject matter makes up for the poor picture quality!

This statue is from the frieze of the Parthenon, now on display in the British Museum. I really liked the contrast of the dynamic animal and the static blocks, but all the same color.
