NATO exercise Dynamic manta (DYMA20) will be conducted from 24th to 6th March 2020 in Ionan Sea. ships, submarines, Maritim Patrol Aircraft and personnel from 9 Allied nations are converging in the Central Medtierranean Sea for anti-submarine warfare (ASW) and anti-surface warfare training. DYMA 20 is a HQ MARCOM Livex designed to sharpen the ASW/ASUW skills of the participating units.
Sigonella air base. Maritim Patrol Aircrafts from Canada, Germany, Turkey and USA are engaged during the exercise. A German P3-C is preparing for take off.

May 25, 2016 - Exercise Dynamic Mercy is an annual NATO, joint and combined live Search and Rescue Exercise open to partners conducted in an area extending from the east coast of Canada to the eastern Baltic. It focuses on the Baltic and Atlantic on alternate years. The aim of exercise Dynamic Mercy is to promote vital communication and cooperation between the many Rescue Coordination Centres and SAR units around the Atlantic and Baltic Sea .
Players include SAR Agencies (Rescue Coordination Centres both Maritime and Air) SAR Units (Military and civilian - helicopters, fixed wing ac, marine craft, etc) and their associated HQs. Increasingly other national authorities (hospitals, police, fire fighters, local government, etc) and commercial agencies (off shore industry, Rigs, supply vessels and their support helicopters, ferries) also participate as opportunities are identified.

The man was very funny that he showed me the price was going up after I parked my car in his parking lot.
I downloaded a trial HDR programme so am using it to the max before the trial runs out! Quite like how this turned out. It's a nice subtle HDR effect as opposed to the overcooked HDR effects that put me off venturing into HDR for so long.
All comments, critiques, thoughts and favourites are more than welcome.

NATO Allies collaborated during a search and rescue exercise in the North Sea on Tuesday, April 26, 2022, as part of Exercise DYNAMIC MERCY 2022.
French Naval vessel, FS Pluvier and personnel with the French, British, Royal Danish and Norwegian air force actively participated in the search and rescue. Rescue responders from nearby countries also responded, bringing national and civilian entities side-by-side with military units.
Dynamic Mercy promotes inter-regional and cross boundary cooperation between Rescue Coordination Centres and Search and Rescue units, military or civilian, in NATO's northern region. This also includes Partner Nations that have common Search and Rescue Region boundaries with Allies.

Dynamic Front is a U.S. Army-led exercise focusing on the integration of joint fires and allied artillery interoperability at the Grafenwoehr Training Area (Germany), Feb. 23 - March 10, 2018. The exercise features approximately 3,700 participants from 26 allied and partner nations.

Norwegian coastguards and Kristiansend maritime firefighters assist MS SJØKURS in evacuating passengers during Search and Rescue Exercice Dynamic Massive off shore of Kristiansend (Norway). Dynamic Massive is one of the large scale drills conducted during annual NATO exercise DYNAMIC MERCY , which enables military, civilian rescue coordination centres and mobile SAR units to practice synthetic SAR scenarios to enhance cross regional cooperation and response in the event of an actual emergency. The Emergency Response and Rescue Vessel (ERRV), the Grampian Dynamic, was recently at Balenciaga Shipyard in Northern Spain.
This is the first in a series of six new vessels, commissioned by Craig Group in a £70 million investment.
Douglas Craig, Chairman and Managing Director of Craig Group, said:“This significant investment is part of our continued drive to operate the largest and most modern British wholly owned fleet engaged in the UK offshore industry.”
The vessel, managed by the Craig Group division, North Star Shipping, is 50 metres long with one daughter craft and one fast rescue craft as well as state-of-the-art survival facilities.
The vessel was christened by Laura Truscott, daughter of North Star Shipping’s Managing Director, Callum Bruce.
The Grampian Dynamic is one of six new vessels to be delivered to North Star Shipping during 2014 and 2016. Three further D-Class IMT 950 ERRVs along with two F-Class IMT 958 ERRVs will also be delivered to replace existing tonnage in the fleet.
At present the fleet stands at 36 vessels and includes a mix of Platform Supply, Tanker Assist, ROV Support and Emergency Response and Rescue Vessels.
Blizzards are prime for adventure, and glad to say that we took advantage of this opportunity. Also very glad my car has 4x4. A necessity for New England.
