Candid street photography from Glasgow, Scotland. This section of The Bridge to Nowhere, a pedestrian footbridge over the M8 Motorway in the city, had a beautiful s-curve but felt just a little bit claustrophobic, and to really build that feeling I gave the shot quite a strong tilt, or 'Dutch Angle'. Enjoy!
More West End impressions. On Cardero Street in Vancouver.
THANK YOU FOR YOUR VIEWS, COMMENTS, FAVES AND INVITES! ♥️
Macro Monday - Dutch Angle - A macro image taken at an angle.
My husband treated me this perfume while we were in Chester earlier this year. I love the bottle almost as much as the fragrance but I keep it in its box tucked away in a drawer because apparently if perfume is kept in the light it doesn't last as long. HMM
Been outdoors for some shooting and testing of my new 1.4x Teleconverter and stumbled across this litlle abandoned thistle blossom. It seems that this one has seen his best days. But you never know - mother nature quite often has some spceial tricks to keep things going on.
Thank you for visits, comments and favs!

I was born in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave. It left me some years ago, and now I live in the Land of the Angry and the Home of the Reckless. Where is Walter Cronkite, now that we need him?

Pegasus, the mythical winged horse, and one of the most recognized creatures in Greek mythology. Pegasus is the offspring of Poseidon and Medusa.
My attempt at applying a Dutch Angle to the photo which gives Pegasus the look of flying at a steeper ascent.
Take care and stay safe

Happy (Macro) Monday, friends! I hope you all have a great week. :)
Smile on Saturday theme Reflections in a Knife
Phew! Just about made it into the group! The run up to Christmas is so manic, I'm so grateful to have my photography to break away from it all.
Happy Smile on Saturday! 😄
It's a Multicoloured Asian Lady Beetle, one of a species of "lady bugs." I spotted this one climbing up a woven window shade in our house on a recent night. I took this shot with one hand shining a flashlight on the bug and the other hand holding my camera. These bugs are about 1/4 inch long. This one looks to have picked up some fiber from the shade on its backside.

I felt the need to post a smile today - a lovely instantaneous reaction to my attempt for a candid shot here in Glasgow, Scotland. I love their 'I got dressed today' pin badge - enjoy!
Previously unpublished street capture from May 2019.
Beneath our feet is a world that many of us ignore when it comes to photography. This gas inspection cover was conveniently positioned in a Dutch Angle, waiting for someone to see and capture.
Subjects photographed on a mirror before a black velvet background using available light and slow shutter. Square format. Under 2 inches corner to corner.

Couldn't think of what to photograph. Thought this look quite simple but liked the fact that the shadow was tilted. Just a quick post today as life has become super hectic. Will come back to comment later.
Happy Macro Monday! 😊
