Making a beach a dumping ground obviously is not funny and yet as upset as some people get its also obvious no one is doing anything about it. I have done many beach clean ups and this beach (i dont know the name, all I know is that it is a beach located near the Governor's complex) is the worst I have seen. People need to learn where to discard their unwanted things.
Not that I don't have enough to do right now......two dogs were dumped near our property a week ago. I have seen them off and on and they looked pretty rough. I put food out for them and have been talking to them each time I see them but only today did they trust enough to come over to me. Such sweet girls with a pretty hard past I imagine. I'm not sure what our next step is because the animal shelter here euthanizes anything that even resembles a pit bull mix and the these kinda do....
I went to the dump, and was surprised to see this canoe, completely intact and in very useable condition, in the scrap metal pile.
I regard this type of canoe as particularly homely, and have no use for it myself, but I expect they are great for hunting and fishing. You aren't supposed to pull stuff out of the scrap metal pile, but I hope somebody did get this and will get some good use out of it.
Kites fly over a garbage dump on the outskirts of Lahore, Pakistan, 05 February 2013. Solid waste generation in Pakistan ranges between 0.283 to 0.612 kg/capita/day and the waste generation growth rate is 2.4% per year. Solid domestic waste is typically dumped on low-lying land. This land could be used for more productive purposes and potentially valuable recyclable materials are lost.
He's having fun rolling it all over the living room. It gets away from him, which is funny to watch.
Because so many walls and so many roofs were damaged in the quake, these three parking lots at the Citizens' Multipurpose Ground have been repurposed as a dump.
