I only had time for a few shots at Central (Chalmers Street) stop this morning, but it was long enough to witness some action. LRVs 015 & 016 were still running tests between Central and the Quay whilst LRVs 001 & 002 and 011 and 012 were engaged in training runs with newbie drivers. All in a morning's work

Passing through Grange over Sands in the mid 1990's is Stagecoach Cumberland's Alexander 'Y' type bodied Leyland Leopard Driver Trainer, CMS 376L. Modern regulations with regard to vehicle specification for taking of Driving Tests, and less willing/capable applicants has seen this 'He-man' type of bus fall from favour in this context. At least when you'd learned to drive in such a bus there was a reasonable possibility that you could then drive most PCVs. ... more dumbing down of standards... don't get me started!
