1937 is one of a number of GM Buses large fleet of Dodge "Little Gem" minibuses that were given a second life in the training school. They weren't actually used for tuition but more for driving assesments and then for route learning once the neccessarry license had been obtained.

Stagecoach Manchester Man 18.220 / ALX 300 22403 poses in the snow up high in Marple during driver training.
After picking up driving a bus with ease in the prior weeks, there was little left to do other than practice manoeuvres over and over. So when snow started to fall I was lucky enough to be offered training in these conditions; being one who loves the snow I snapped up the opportunity and off we went to Marple for the afternoon.
I certainly feel more prepared to drive in the snow now so fingers crossed when the white stuff falls again I'll be able to safely keep the wheels rolling on our services!
