Original One of a Kind Hand Painted Production Art
Little John by Robin Hood
This original production cel (celluloid) actually went under the camera and was shot to become a frame of the finished feature film, "Robin Hood." This cel was released to art galleries through the Walt Disney Studio Art Program.
Robin Hood is an animated film produced by the Walt Disney Studios, first released in the United States on November 8, 1973. My little wooden rocking horse which has a special place on the kitchen cupboard. Strange how you really start to think about an object when you really look at it. As I was drawing the little horse I was thinking that this was once a tree and it inspired the words which I had written on the opposite page.

Mr. J.C. Roth taught high school physics at Uni High -- USDHS -- University of San Diego High School. I have no idea what years he taught there, but he was a great teacher who I totally underappreciated.
