The penis of the male opossum is bifurcated or forked. This, combined with the female opossum’s prenatal habit of licking her belly, nipples and pouch area, led to the folktale that in reproducing, the male and female have sex through the female’s nose and she then blows the young into her pouch.
At clusterflock, too.
This is my second time drawing Audrey Hepburn. The first attempt from 2009 can be seen in my Dearly Departed album. For me, the beautiful people are the most difficult to draw.
I try to find a bit of time every day to do a bit of colouring or reading. Something relaxing and for me. A good time is whilst the boys eat their tea, not the most relaxing of times often, so this does help!
We had Parents' Consultation at Noah's school today, and it was a mostly positive result. He is progressing well with reading, writing and maths. He has made friends and settling in pretty well on the whole. The only thing his teacher raised as needing work, was his ability to manage his emotions a little, as he does tend to get upset very quickly if something is done to him (any perceived slight) or if he is blamed for something he feels is unjust. That seems fairly normal for a 5 year old; I'm pretty pleased with his report overall.
Found this strange nut case outside our local supermarket, I think it's a type of hazelnut but I could be wrong.

마침 사진이 올라와있길래, 난생 처음으로 누드를 그려봤는데...
아오... 아내가 '막막하지? 뭘 그려야 할 지 모르겠지?'라고 옆에서 도발하더라.
어깨는 어떻게든 되는 거 같은데, 아래로 내려갈수록, 무릎, 발목, 발... 정말 어렵다.
우울해져서 다른 걸 좀 그려봤는데, 표범 얼굴 같은 건 전혀 어렵지 않고. 흐음...
A bit inconsequential, this one, I know; but I came across it in a slide box and passed it by, then returned to look at it again, then turned on the scanner.
It's silly really, but this sums up a certain phase in my life quite well. It was taken in late May or early June 1981. I was coming to the end of my apprenticeship, and I'd borrowed a spare drawing board from work to do the detail design for my final year college project. As the drawings are nowhere to be seen, I'm assuming that I'd handed it in by this time.
Instead, there's a partially completed pen and ink drawing - a female head outlined against a darkened window - which later formed the basis of one of my poster designs. (Does anybody use a drawing board like that these days?)
The decor is something else - stained and faded pink wallpaper and mixed autumnal shades on the carpet. I'd bought the house in Lena Street, Easton, Bristol, the previous November, and hadn't given any thought at all to redecorating. This was my living room, as shown by the 1950s HMV radiogram in the corner, for which I'd paid two pounds to a chap at tech college, and rebuilt from scrap.

This is a drawing from Clair Weeks. I don't no what cartoon/movie there were drawn for but I believe it may have been a study of Clair Weeks for Bambi . There are 5 peg holes on the bottom of the drawing. Please see picture. The paper measures 12.5" x 15.5". There top right has a tiny crease& there is a little discoloring to the paper..

Taken at a cultural event, where we were pushed and shoved and packed like canned sardins.
This girl was wearing a kimono, had a Japanese do, and was drawing manga faces. I liked the setting, but the condensed Japanese ambience was a tad overly discomfortable so I left quite early.
