Back when Aston Martin was teasing it's One-77 concept Halo car, I made this drawing, trying to predict how it would actually look. I wasn't very far off.

Comments: Maria graduated from the Univeridad Catolica de Chile with a degree in Graphic Design. After working for 5 years as a graphic designer, she moved to Canada in 1978. Maria has ben involved in the teaching of art and ceramic painting for a therapeutic art program. She recently opened an art studio for the Maple Ridge Association for Community Living. Maria's work is in private collections world wide.

the beginnning stages of a drawing im doing, the scan is shockingly bad but it is quite a large drawing and hopefully as i progress with it i will keep putting new reports on here
We are delighted to invite you to the forthcoming exhibition of the UOP Creative Campus project New Creatives 2011. The Faculty of Creative and Cultural Industries commissioned two professional artists, Joanna Ross and Joanne Hummel-Newell, to work six further education and sixth form college students, to inspire the production of exciting new creative works for a joint exhibition at SPACE and Eldon Gallery, University of Portsmouth, Winston Churchill Avenue, Portsmouth, PO1 2DJ.

This is my 2nd ever portrait drawing.
I have just finished reading, 'Hang a Thousand Trees with Ribbons', by Ann Rinaldi, about Phillis Wheatley, the first woman black poet to get published.
This was my interpretation of her. Although, it probably looks more like a man, no? oh well, practice, practice, practice, right Misty!! smile.
I have to work on the eye thing and the nose thing. Especially the eyes, they give me trouble.
