I used black charcoal and white chalk on brown paper for this A3 life drawing. I enjoyed working in charcoal and chalk as I think they can produce a bold image- the charcoal makes very dark tones whilst the chalk can be used for white highlights. I often like to leave parts like the head out of a life drawing as I think this can look interesting. I usually use masking tape so that my drawings stay within a section.
