Many of you probably remember this photo from the CPM challenge from last May. I did participate in the challenge last year, however, the artwork was 4"x6" & it was my first try at drawing a smaller size artwork. It was not fun. In fact, it made me decide (much to my disappointment) that drawing small wasn't for me. One year, (& many artworks later) I've created the same drawing...at 1/4 the size...and actually enjoyed it.☺ Just goes to show how much things can change in a year!

This doodle was done at work, whilst I was on the phone. A couple of days later a friend sent me a link to see a zentangle. I was surprised as I hadn't heard of these before and essentially I had been doodling in that style for years.

I needed a quick fix so I drew up a sperm whale. He's all, "YEAH SO WHAT IF I BLOWHOLE A LITTLE TO THE LEFT AND MY JAW IS FLOPPY, WHATEVER, I AM BIG AND I WILL SMASH YOU" &c.

Here's a little better pic of the pencil drawing my daughter did at age 15...I can't get the color just right..it looks like ball point pen, but is actually done in pencil.
