No date on this dragon drawing by c-boy. Another furniture-moving-find.

Just a drawing I did this weekend while watching movies.

nude watercolors at Revolver's Mondays with a gorgeous model

This was literally digging through my 'archives' to get this ink wash still life from my Fall 1971 Art Class at Concordia Teachers College (now Concordia University) in River Forest, Illinois.

(Yes, I saved my art work to use as examples when I would teach art later on.) Crates, horse collars, linking rods, and a horse skull composed this still life assignment, and we sat around it as a class, each drawing it from our own perspective. Once completed, the whole classes' projects were displayed, and it was like a virtual walk around of the still life in the art lab.

drawing of a mountain (2008)

It just became so tiresome. At first exploiting his depression helped get the business going. But He just took all the fun out of devouring worlds. Even surfing the spaceways seemed to bring him down.

So It is time for a new partner. This one already knows how to surf, and he is apparently really mellow and happy. It will be a good change of pace.

You can see what I was going for in the new version. Actually, like Daniel mentioned, the legs could still be longer!

Some of my "students" don't like black scarves and emblem pins. Hahaha! The inspiration for this drawing came from the manga, Muhyo and Roji. I've been reading it lately and got really hooked.

This drawing is dedicated to my friend, Kyomi.

Always with me the very tiny sketchbook (3 x 3 inches) joined me also for the vacation in Bavaria and Rhineland-Palatinate. It iis for quick sketches without looking at the page. Pencil drawings become very tiny watercolor paintings over time.

Drawing practice... a random little fashion illustration based on a backstage runway pic. I like how the colors turned out...
