Drawn with calligraphy inks

A drawing I finished at work today. It's done with graphite pencil

nude watercolors at Revolver's Mondays with a gorgeous model

Commissioned work for the release of Procreate 1.6 ipad application.

The idea here was to have an unfinished look to this piece.I figured i'd do an old school pencil drawing not completely painted over to emphasize this concept. At the same time a good opportunity to show the range of traditional styles you can achieve with the sketching Protools from 1.6

moonchild

whatever slid into my mother's room that

late june night, tapping her great belly,

summoned me out roundheaded and unsmiling.

is this the moon, my father used to grin.

cradling me? it was the moon

but nobody knew it then.

the moon understands dark places.

the moon has secrets of her own.

she holds what light she can.

we girls were ten years old and giggling

in our hand-me-downs. we wanted breasts,

pretended that we had them, tissued

our undershirts. jay johnson is teaching

me to french kiss, ella bragged, who

is teaching you? how do you say; my father?

the moon is queen of everything.

she rules the oceans, rivers, rain.

when I am asked whose tears these are

I always blame the moon.

Aaron Renier does everything better than everybody. He can also make vegan mince meat pie and bend spoons with his brain.

we drew this together and it was so much fun i ruptured a blood vessel and one of my leg bones dissolved.

This doodle was done at work, whilst I was on the phone. A couple of days later a friend sent me a link to see a zentangle. I was surprised as I hadn't heard of these before and essentially I had been doodling in that style for years.

traveling through space on a beam of light conscious entities from other realms of reality have been downloading images from their home world into my subconscious mind

Wall Drawing 915 can be read as an amalgamation of many of the Estate of Sol LeWitt’s formal themes from the 1960s through the 1990s.

This colorful art painting include arcs, circle, and irregular bands shapes with basic colors.

First drawn by Dana Carlson, Christina Hejtmanek, James Sheehen, Emily Ripley.

First installation at Paula Cooper Gallery, New York at September 1999 as acrylic paint.

It also seen at MASS MoCA (Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art) besides at underpass from Bayfront MRT Station to Gardens by the Bay Singapore.

The body is a sacred garment.

I needed a quick fix so I drew up a sperm whale. He's all, "YEAH SO WHAT IF I BLOWHOLE A LITTLE TO THE LEFT AND MY JAW IS FLOPPY, WHATEVER, I AM BIG AND I WILL SMASH YOU" &c.

Here's a little better pic of the pencil drawing my daughter did at age 15...I can't get the color just right..it looks like ball point pen, but is actually done in pencil.

Thanks for this inspiring art challenge. So great to navigate out of confort zone and discover new techniques

whats going through your head? - nature stuff, magic, trans-humanist prophesy, self replicating bio-technical nano-synthetic forms, cybernetic organisms, miscellaneous heads, space armor, goblins, extra terrestrial humanoids, insectoids, reptilians and such...
