Side note, the bug is a mosquito eater... or as one student called it, a "giant killer mosquito". This little dude was in the classroom during the first day of this still-life project and was drawn from observation. The mosquito eater was eventually removed from the classroom, due to student distraction levels, and set free in the the schools common gallery space.
Draw with pencil then glue over the drawing. Sprinkle some sand. Add glitter and leave to dry.The non-stuck sand will fall down. Malak

Author and illustrator Eric Wight draws Frankie Pickle, the main character in his popular Frankie Pickle series of books, for the students at Oakville Elementary on Sept. 7. Wight visited the students at Blades, Point, Wohlwend and Oakville Elementary Schools and told students they should never give up because rejection can lead to an even better experience, or in his case, a better job.

This is the egg-shape that we were to draw in watercolor class, to learn about shadows, highlights, and reflections. Most folks used a bright lamp, I used a window. (As the day wore on, the sunlight got brighter. By the time I took photos, it was like this ... very stark)
During LCC's Further Education (FE) induction week, newly enrolled Foundation and ABC Dip students took part in a massive all day drawing project - The Big Draw.
The project resulted in a number of impressive large-scale collaborative drawings being generated by the College's latest new creative intake.
