John David "J. D." Maarleveld (born October 24, 1961) is an American former professional football player who was an offensive tackle for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the National Football League. He played college football for the Maryland Terrapins after transferring from the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, following his survival after a bout with cancer. He was selected by the Buccaneers in the fifth round of the 1986 NFL draft.
College career - A native of Jersey City, Maarleveld enrolled at the University of Notre Dame after graduating from Saint Joseph of the Palisades High School and played football as an offensive tackle. Shortly after his sophomore year in 1982, he was diagnosed with Hodgkin's lymphoma, one of the more curable types of cancer when discovered in its early stages. Notre Dame head coach Gerry Faust assured him that he had a position on the team after he recovered. Maarleveld forced himself to eat and maintained a vigorous workout routine throughout the duration of his chemotherapy, and he lost only 35 pounds as a result.
A year later, doctors assessed that he was free of cancer. However, Faust informed his parents that there was no longer a place for him on the Notre Dame team and was unsure whether he was still in football condition. Faust recommended that Maarleveld transfer to a Division II school. He instead transferred to Maryland to play under head coach Bobby Ross and offensive line coach Ralph Friedgen. In 1984, he was the recipient of the Brian Piccolo Award, the Atlantic Coast Conference award for overcoming adversity. In 1985, he was named a consensus first-team All-American.
Professional career - Maarleveld entered the 1986 NFL draft and expected himself to be a first-round pick. Instead, he was selected in the fifth round (119th overall) by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He expressed the belief that his placement in the draft was due to his earlier battle with cancer. Maarleveld played for the Buccaneers for two years. In 1986, he played in 14 games and, in 1987, he played in 11 games including three starts. In 1988, the Buccaneers waived his contract before the start of the season.
Later life - Maarleveld was inducted into the University of Maryland Athletic Hall of Fame in 2004. His nephew, Andrew Gonnella, also attended Maryland as a walk-on offensive lineman. His son Max is a pitcher at Montclair State University.

When I woke up this morning and didn't see a hole in the Owl box, I thought, "Great, a chance to take owl pics in day light!", but then when I took a closer look I realized I was seeing something else entirely!
I can't say for certain what's going on there, but it seems as though the Screecher had a good night hunting last night, killed more birds than it could eat in one sitting, and decided to save the left-overs for another day. The amazing thing (to me anyway) is how it seems to be using it's left-overs as a "draft dodger". It's about 20 F today so a little something in the hole to keep out the cool breeze seems like a very good idea. It also occurred to me that the rising heat from the owl in the box might also keep the body from freezing, making for warmed-over left-overs the next day, with the added benefit of keeping out the noise of scolding birds (grieving for their lost friend), like the Titmouses I've often seen hanging from the roof and screaming into the hole during the day.
I also noticed some jays having a look at a potential meal, but they know who lives there, and thought better of it after figuring out the dead bird was too heavy to fly off with, and eating it on the ground under the Owl box would be a very bad idea!
. . . Just like Nascar drivers get a free ride behind the car in front of them, these Canadian Geese are doing a similar thing! The lead bird has the most wind resistance, while the ones behind call out and encourage him/her. The ones behind switch with the leader so that one bird doesn't do all the heavy lifting. Must be they watch a lot of FOX Sports!

After a year-and-a-half at Justin's, we FINALLY went and got our drafting table so I could prep fashion.
Down to light weight draft pull comes up but this guy really wasn't in for facing the wall waiting for his turn cuz he was always looking behind him plus moving against the wall for a better view. Come to find out they always had to hitch his left side to the T so I assumed he had move freedom to move cuz of his actions.
So I finished sorting for the first-ever internet-based FBTB parts draft. Wednesday night I conduct a live chat session with 10 of our members from around the world where they will select the parts they want from our Prince of Persia Double Draft of ten 7571 Fight for the Dagger and ten 7570 Ostrich Race sets!
Guessed folds after base of Kats Bondrewd made in abyss human char thing. Hope collapsed right... How do I shape?
Whats the exact ref, (I only eyed it here); and the graft around the thing do? Also what to do with back flap.. Only thing can see so far is to sink the 2 front flaps. Thanks. Designed by em Feb 2020.
For all the adult/older re-riders out there! Getting on was a chore. The Best Friends bareback pad is comfy though!
There are several height positions on the table and a pencil guard at the bottom. The round discs on the sides are temporary. We epoxied nuts into each disc so that the table could be tightened without tools. These look a little tacky and we decided to purchase real plastic knobs for the final design.

This is inspired by #2 because she seems happy from the living beauty of the flower, creating herself to love herself, for she is beauty and living as well.
Everything that comes in or goes out of Iquitos--the world's largest city without road access--comes in or goes out on a boat. Large, flat barges are capable of transporting a tremendous amount of goods, including agricultural and other food products, raw materials, machinery, building supplies, livestock, and everything else imaginable. These marks help ensure that barges are not overloaded with goods, although in Iquitos these warnings seem to go mostly unheeded.
