I wasn't gonna put this up but I gave in. It will take a couple of refolds to reach the 1.0 standpoint (for those counting), plus I'm not satisfied with the backside yet. Most likely I won't be do too many of these things as its extremely difficult for me to design them & I am not use to this process. To that extent, it took at least 3 times longer than designing a tessellation. Which wonder if its worth the time/effort, I could've designed 3 Tess patterns by then which are more straight forward (a what you see is what you get ordeal).. Anyway stumbling to it with a lack of knowledge on developing cp: orientation of parts, proportions, when or where to use certain shapes, collapses & gussets, adjusting proportions, creating the base correctly, and whats needed to shape an area. Even shifting an area requires thought & solution. After several (at least 5) drafts, with the fingers graft coming in the end, I've gotten it closer to where he should be. Not boxpleated or based on grid, It has some basis & 22.5s from Kamiyas wizard, but much has changed.

▶ On the left: a cask-conditioned pint of Draft Punk (4.5% abv 'American Pale Ale', from Oliver Ales, of Baltimore, Maryland).

"Fermented with an English ale yeast but generously bittered with Chinook & Cascade and finished with whole leaf Cascade and then dry hopped in tank [and cask] with, yes, you guessed it, more leaf Cascade!"

---> Bright, slightly tart (from the citrusy hops?), and finishing dry.

▶ On the right: unfiltered, draft, Rye, Baby, Rye (from Mad Fox Brewing Company, of Falls Church, Virginia

"American Pale Ale brewed with 13% German Rye Malt, Pale, Crystal and Munich Malts. Heavily Hopped with the American hop varietal Chinook solely to 80 IBUs to showcase that hop characteristic. The piney hop flavors and the notes of the Rye Malt make for a complex flavor meld."

---> Minty, spicy flavor; hoppy/bitter finish.

▶The wine, in the backgound, left: Gmörk Gruner Veltliner (from Weingut Anton Bauer of Austria).

The forest becomes richer and more diverse as the trail descends the high plateau into Bloom Draft, a deep, steep-walled canyon that joins the equally impressive canyon carved by Yost Run.

May 15, 2019 - "The complex of buildings at Hillside includes spaces from across Wright’s career as a designer: the “abstract forest” drafting studio (1939), the Hillside Assembly Hall (1903), the Hillside Theater (1955), and the Fellowship dining hall (1955). Hillside is home to the School of Architecture at Taliesin, and students in residence here from mid-May through mid-October may be seen at work in the studio. The Assembly Hall is an example of Wright’s strides to “destroy the box” of traditional architectural design. The Hillside Theater includes a theater curtain, that was adapted from a Wright-designed geometric abstraction of the Taliesin landscape." The 49th annual NHL Draft was held in Minnesota (June 24-25) for the first time since the North Stars hosted the event in 1989. The Xcel Energy Center was a beautiful venue for the Draft, regarded by many as the best arena in hockey. Players born between 1991-1993 were eligible for the 2001 draft. Ryan Nugent-Hopkins was selected with the first overall pick by the Edmonton Oilers.

▶ Amber/Red Ale draught sales are up 15%, driven by the

"eye-popping" growth of Negra Modelo (up 700%).

▶ American Ale has grown over 50% as a draught-beer category, led by brands Firestone Walker (up 123%) and Kona (up 30%).

▶ Light lagers account for 41% share of draught volume, down 3.2% (but Corona Light is up 51% and Michelob Ultra is up 11.6%).

Here's what BeerBoard says about itself and its study:

"BeerBoard monitors over 50,000 draft lines on a constant basis. This generates incredible amounts of data, but gives great insight to the style and brand trends within the beer industry.

For this report, we selected 400 of our client locations, using a sample--set of same--store volume ACTUALLY POURED, comparing the first six months of 2015 to the same period in 2016. This barometer gave a clear snapshot of strong performers and styles trending up or down. [Overall,] we manage over 50,000 draft lines in thousands of outlets and a database in excess of 35,000 brands."

It is one of the goals of the annual horse shows at the stud Haupt- und Landgestüt Marbach to present different horse breeds, among them various heavy horses, and the duties they have performed over the centuries.I add a close-up of this heavy horse in the comments.

GONE--This is newly made in the style of a drafting table some industrial designer might have employed in the pre-WWI factories of Europe. It is gorgeous and entirely practical for its stated purpose (get out your T-squares, kids, it's time to have FUN), but when adjusted to be flat it can easily serve as a dining table for 6. It would be very versatile and space saving in an artist's home (provided she drew or painted or some such.)

Some of the other videos didn't make it this short is of the horses just getting under way. The ride is maybe 15 minutes the , horse are immense Draft horse that the farmer driving the "hayride" (sans hay) does in the summer he also does sleigh rides and does selective lumber hauling with draft horses and does a variety of area shows , even plows and other farm activities w/ the horses. there were only 6 people on this ride , the next one was packed like 20 people 2 bucks a head.

Hideous (but necessary) draft dodger + scarf with holes= pretty draft dodger! Made for Elsie and Rachel's Project ReStyle.

Aesthetic Outburst

Luck is still holding. In the second draft I've skimmed the trouser fit way down to a straight-leg jean, and taken out the darts while maintaining the fit of the waistline. There's a bit of a bubble in the upper sideseam, but I think that's a sharp curve that needs clipping to lie smoothly.

I wanted more of a boot leg, so next draft will some more skimming of the top to the knee and some messing around with trying to create a yoke at the waist without getting overwhelmed by seam allowances.

But I have to run out for a while and probably when I get back my lucky streak will be all over.

Just a simple little drawing I did. It's the first one that I've done with a mouse, so I'd say it's not bad for that. It was done in a HorseIsle art room, hence the 'by Symfony' part. So, I know it's not great, but it's also not terrible for the first I've done on a computer :)

These horse are so huge and powerful. They truly are gentle giants.

Tonight was the draft, i was anxious to see where aot of these great players were headed, and i was ecited to see Tim Tebow go in the first round. I knew he'd end up a Bronco.

The dolphins Got Jared Odrick from penn state, and i watched Colt McCoy and Jimm Clausen slide down the draft ranks.. all drama

A blackboard listing the nice selection of beer on draft the night of my first visit to the beer bar, 10 May 2012:

1. Girardin Kriek (5% lambic)

2. De Struise Brouwers Pannepot Special Reserve 2008 (10% belgian strong ale)

3. DeMolen Mout & Mocca (11.6% imperial stout)

4. St. Georgen Bräu Keller Bier (4.9% keller)

5. Cantillon Iris (5% lambic)

6. Brasserie Dupont Saison Dupont Dry Hopping (6.5% saison)

7. Croocked Moon Celebration Ale (5.4% amber ale)

8. Croocked Moon Zero (4.9% and 0 IBU(!) american pale ale)

9. Fanø Bryghus Pikkulintu (12% triple ipa)

10. Brauerei Spezial Rauchbier Märzen (5.3% smoked)

A nice, varied selection spanning from pale ales and stouts to sour ales and rauchbier!

Spent a few hours taking the new (to me) drafting machine mechanism apart, to see how it works, and for cleaning. It's really nicely made, with a lot of parts that looked like they belonged in a camera. It has a super precise and smooth action.
