We had a Saturday night away at the Tarrytown Doubletree, and on Sunday morning Danny and Cecilia brought the girls up to have some fun and go to the pool.
The Doubletree Fitness Center by Precor features cardio equipment with personal TV screens, free weights and lots of room to stretch.

Myrtle Beach is a coastal city on the east coast of the United States in Horry County, South Carolina. It is situated on the center of a large and continuous stretch of beach known as the Grand Strand in northeastern South Carolina.
Myrtle Beach is one of the major centers of tourism in the United States because of the city's warm subtropical climate and extensive beaches, attracting an estimated 14 million visitors each year. As of the 2010 census, the population of the city was 27,109 with the Myrtle Beach metropolitan area population at 465,391 according to a 2013 estimate.
Myrtle Beach hosts a variety of special conventions, events, and musical concerts. The area's attractions include its beaches and courses, as well as a number of amusement parks, an aquarium, Legends In Concert, retail developments, a number of shopping complexes and over 1,900 restaurants[6] including seafood restaurants. The area also has dinner theaters, nightclubs, and many tourist shops. Myrtle Beach has an estimated 460 hotels, with many on the beachfront, and approximately 89,000 accommodation units in total. Also in the city is Myrtle Waves, one of the largest water parks on the East Coast of the United States.

Myrtle Beach era inabitada até 1900, quando uma ferrovia foi construída entre Conway e a região onde atualmente localiza-se Myrtle Beach. A estrada de ferro foi inaugurada em 1899 na localidade de Pine Island e foi estendida por 6,4 km em direção a futura cidade que estaria sendo construída.
Pelos idos de 1930, a cidade cresceu com a finalidade de incluir a localidade atual de Ocean Forest. O Canal intercostal (Intercoastal Waterway) começou a ser construído nessa década. Myrtle Beach foi incorporada como cidade de categoria secundária (town) em 1938, e incorporada para a categoria de cidade primária (city) em 1957, sendo que, nesta ocasião, a cidade foi renomeada como "Myrtle Beach", que é o mesmo nome das árvores da região, bem pelo fato da cidade estar localizada próxima de praias.
Myrtle Beach continuou a crescer, e nos anos 60, o centro de compras de Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Square Mall) foi construído e a cidade tornou-se associada com o turismo. A rota principal da cidade, US 17 Bypass, foi também construída nessa década

The Summit Hotel (and more recently Loew's New York Hotel) opened in 1961. Designed by Morris Lapidus, of Art Deco fame, its exterior blue façade - is shaped like a perpendicular rolling wave. Lapidus also designed the Fontainebleau Hotel and Eden Roc Hotel, Miami Beach.
Lapidus took advantage of the absence of windows on the hotel's Lexington Avenue side and designed an unusal stainless steel sign. it was planned from the start and appears in early renderings when the hotel was called the Americana.
Robert Johnson, founder of BET and principal of RLJ Development, closed on the purchase of the Doubletree Metropolitan Hotel in 2010, paying $335 million for the 755-room Lexington Avenue hotel. RLJ paid $135 million in cash and put $200 million of new debt on the property, the $125 million of mezzanine debt on it coming from the Blackstone Real Estate Situation Fund.

The hotel is situated in the Times Square area and Lovage Rooftop & Indoor Lounge has great views of midtown west all the way to the southern end, as well as the new development of the Hudson Yards.
We supplied a Da-Lite Fastfold screen, 5500 Lumen LCD projector, pipe and drape, sound system, microphones, 16 channel mixer, kramer seamless switcher.
