DoubleTree by Hilton. Myrtle Beach, SC. Feb/2017
Myrtle Beach is a coastal city on the east coast of the United States in Horry County, South Carolina. It is situated on the center of a large and continuous stretch of beach known as the Grand Strand in northeastern South Carolina.
Myrtle Beach is one of the major centers of tourism in the United States because of the city's warm subtropical climate and extensive beaches, attracting an estimated 14 million visitors each year. As of the 2010 census, the population of the city was 27,109 with the Myrtle Beach metropolitan area population at 465,391 according to a 2013 estimate.
Myrtle Beach hosts a variety of special conventions, events, and musical concerts. The area's attractions include its beaches and courses, as well as a number of amusement parks, an aquarium, Legends In Concert, retail developments, a number of shopping complexes and over 1,900 restaurants[6] including seafood restaurants. The area also has dinner theaters, nightclubs, and many tourist shops. Myrtle Beach has an estimated 460 hotels, with many on the beachfront, and approximately 89,000 accommodation units in total. Also in the city is Myrtle Waves, one of the largest water parks on the East Coast of the United States.

Myrtle Beach é um centro turístico, sendo conhecida pelas suas grandes praias, restaurantes de frutos do mar e excelentes shoppings. Mais de 14 milhões de turistas visitam a cidade anualmente. A área é muito popular para os visitantes que vem do Estado da Virgínia Ocidental.
Myrtle Beach era inabitada até 1900, quando uma ferrovia foi construída entre Conway e a região onde atualmente localiza-se Myrtle Beach. A estrada de ferro foi inaugurada em 1899 na localidade de Pine Island e foi estendida por 6,4 km em direção a futura cidade que estaria sendo construída.
Pelos idos de 1930, a cidade cresceu com a finalidade de incluir a localidade atual de Ocean Forest. O Canal intercostal (Intercoastal Waterway) começou a ser construído nessa década. Myrtle Beach foi incorporada como cidade de categoria secundária (town) em 1938, e incorporada para a categoria de cidade primária (city) em 1957, sendo que, nesta ocasião, a cidade foi renomeada como "Myrtle Beach", que é o mesmo nome das árvores da região, bem pelo fato da cidade estar localizada próxima de praias.
Myrtle Beach continuou a crescer, e nos anos 60, o centro de compras de Myrtle Beach (Myrtle Square Mall) foi construído e a cidade tornou-se associada com o turismo. A rota principal da cidade, US 17 Bypass, foi também construída nessa década

It was sweet treats all around the hotel for Team Member Appreciation Week at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dhahran.
DoubleTree by Hilton Beijing partnered with Dandelion Middle School – an organization that gives migrant children access to quality education – to help make five students' career dreams come true. Team Members visited the school to record their dreams on video. The wishes were for a painting brush, a basketball, sportswear, flowers for a student's mother and a cigarette holder to help a student's father to quit smoking. The wishes were granted, and the teacher and one student were invited to participate in the hotel's Youth Day CARE rally. Many parents of the students have shown interest in the hotel, and three have been offered positions!

We had a Saturday night away at the Tarrytown Doubletree, and on Sunday morning Danny and Cecilia brought the girls up to have some fun and go to the pool.
At DoubleTree by Hilton Shenyang, managers showed their appreciation by scrubbing their Team Members’ bicycles to make them clean and shiny – the team loved the surprise!

The Doubletree Hotel Cleveland Downtown/Lakeside has 10,347 square feet of functional meeting space, 11 meeting rooms, state-of-the-art audio/visual equipment and wireless high-speed internet access in all meeting rooms.

Highly recommended as we experienced memorable service standards, superb design, location, room and tasty food and beverage opportunities incl. a warm welcome as we received our DoubleTree by Hilton Cookie, which is the tasty signature of the DoubleTree by Hilton experience.
