At DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Centraal Station, they celebrated Appreciation Week with a “Treat Trolley,” filled with goodies, sodas and chocolates, that they wheeled around the hotel every day say “thank you” to their team.
The DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Raleigh-Cary offers full service hotel accommodations in suburban Cary, North Carolina, mid-way between downtown Raleigh and Research Triangle Park. The hotel is conveniently located in Crossroads Shopping Plaza near US 1 and I-40 is within walking distance of retail stores, restaurants and entertainment. This is the former DoubleTree Hotel attached to the Military Circle Mall at 880 N. Military Hwy, Norfolk, VA.
It closed in 2009 and was later condemned; the previous owners of the mall proposed ideas to convert it to another hotel or apartments, but ultimately all plans fell through.
The Military Circle Mall opened on August 6th, 1970 and closed on January 31st, 2023 for redevelopment; demolition is currently on hold until Ross (a baby anchor) signs off on demolition plans, or their lease expires.
While some ideas for the space were proposed, the City of Norfolk (who owns the mall property minus Sentara's building) has no concrete plans for the property, and plans to demolish the mall and let the land sit until they decide on what to do with it. Without Ross' approval for demolition to begin, the mall is sitting in a form of purgatory... it can't reopen due to its condition and the deficit to keep it open, and they can't demolish it because Ross won't approve the demolition.
Some work appears to be going on in the old Macy's store, but I'm not sure what exactly it is.

Highly recommended as we experienced memorable service standards, superb design, location, room and tasty food and beverage opportunities incl. a warm welcome as we received our DoubleTree by Hilton Cookie, which is the tasty signature of the DoubleTree by Hilton experience. Our 3rd stay.

Completely refurbished in April 2014, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Dublin - Burlington Road is located minutes from Dublin's city centre and St Stephens Green area. This landmark hotel was built in 1972.
Here is how it was described many years ago when it operated as the Burlington: “The Burlington Hotel offers 500 bedrooms and conference facilities for up to 1,300 delegates in close proximity to the city centre. The Burlo, as it is known among Dubliners, is the venue of choice for gala events in central Dublin and offers stylish accommodation.”

We had a Saturday night away at the Tarrytown Doubletree, and on Sunday morning Danny and Cecilia brought the girls up to have some fun and go to the pool.

Myrtle Beach is a coastal city on the east coast of the United States in Horry County, South Carolina. It is situated on the center of a large and continuous stretch of beach known as the Grand Strand in northeastern South Carolina.
Myrtle Beach is one of the major centers of tourism in the United States because of the city's warm subtropical climate and extensive beaches, attracting an estimated 14 million visitors each year. As of the 2010 census, the population of the city was 27,109 with the Myrtle Beach metropolitan area population at 465,391 according to a 2013 estimate.
Myrtle Beach hosts a variety of special conventions, events, and musical concerts. The area's attractions include its beaches and courses, as well as a number of amusement parks, an aquarium, Legends In Concert, retail developments, a number of shopping complexes and over 1,900 restaurants[6] including seafood restaurants. The area also has dinner theaters, nightclubs, and many tourist shops. Myrtle Beach has an estimated 460 hotels, with many on the beachfront, and approximately 89,000 accommodation units in total. Also in the city is Myrtle Waves, one of the largest water parks on the East Coast of the United States.

At DoubleTree by Hilton Alice Springs, they gave their Team Members bookmarks, with chocolate hearts attached to them and a handwritten note from their manager on the back, to represent their Heart of Hilton team.

It was sweet treats all around the hotel for Team Member Appreciation Week at the DoubleTree by Hilton Dhahran.
DoubleTree by Hilton Beijing partnered with Dandelion Middle School – an organization that gives migrant children access to quality education – to help make five students' career dreams come true. Team Members visited the school to record their dreams on video. The wishes were for a painting brush, a basketball, sportswear, flowers for a student's mother and a cigarette holder to help a student's father to quit smoking. The wishes were granted, and the teacher and one student were invited to participate in the hotel's Youth Day CARE rally. Many parents of the students have shown interest in the hotel, and three have been offered positions!
